I was in town for a group meeting and after checking into the nearby Occidental Lodge, I enjoyed walking around this Thursday (to Dusk) community market.And it was just across the street! There was a nice variety of prepared food, produce, crafts, music and hippy-dippy people watching. I wandered back highly entertained and with a big ass cookie for my time.

Omg everything is SO overpriced. Someone was selling a small chocolate loaf (like the small mini loaf that comes in the foil thing we used to make and give to our neighbors in the good old days) for $35, a small basket of strawberries wears $8, and overpriced everything else. I thought the point of farmers market was to buy fromLocal farmers at a good price. Looks like it's not like that in occidental anyways.

Excellent Farmers Market! I love the home town feel and they have an assortment of fresh fruits and veggies. Also, their homemade fresh dishes are incredible! I can't wait until Fridays come! The live music makes it so much fun! Stop by, you won't be sorry!
