“I've never had a bad experience at Trader Joe's I'm always finding new things to try! Trader Joe's is the only store that carries my favorite ginger beer!!

I particularly don't like the Napa location as it is horrible to shop at, especially on a weekend.
Would love to see one open up in Vallejo!”

“This place is great! The owner is so nice and helpful and they carry beautifully handcrafted items made by local artists. One of Napa's true gem Ma and pa shops. Worth a stop by for sure.”

“Nice bougie local grocery.PROS:*Free, easy parking*Clean restrooms*Excellent gourmet sandwiches, both ready-made and made-to-order*Full hot food bar and decent salad bar*Donuts and coffee*Butcher shop with quality choices*Decent serviceCONS:*Quality isn't cheap*Plasticware and napkins are coveted, not given/offered with every deli or hot food/salad bar purchase. Extremely frustrating when on the road. BE SURE TO ASK or you'll be eating salad or wet burrito with your fingers!*Nanny's Bakery cookies by the register look amazing, but are HARD as a rock! Not worth $1, much less $4”

“So delicious! Stopped by our neighborhood market / taqueria and loved the grilled chicken plate and burrito. I'm going to enjoy stopping by for fresh veggies, cilantro, peppers, homemade tortilla and salsa in the market. The outdoor seating area was informal and the perfect place to relax. We will be by often!”

“We were in the area for wine tasting (of course), and my sister-in-law forgot her readers (eyeglasses). This was the closest store, so we took a chance and dropped in to see if we could find some for her. We loved browsing around. They had some children's books, they had baked goods (including kouign-amann, a french pastry!) and pots of coffee near the check-out. They had cute birdhouses out front made from reclaimed wood! We enjoyed going up and down each aisle, pleasantly surprised at the variety of goods they offered. And YES! they had reading glasses. They had a really nice selection of different colors and strengths. If you forgot something on your trip, don't dismiss this store because it's a grocery store. They might just have it!”

“Most of the wine in Napa and Sonoma is crazy expensive. If you're looking to purchase something decent and not spend $50 or $100 for a bottle of vino, Grocery Outlet has you covered. Sure, there's some cheap Chateaux Plonk here. But there are some very good $10 bottles that will go down a treat. And yes, it's a full supermarket with all the other goodies including butchery, dairy, frozen, canned goods, produce and the like. It's basic but it's good and it's definitely inexpensive.[Review 20999 overall - 516 in California - 1984 of 2023.]”

“Everything here is priced fairly. Their selection is wide. They have fresh dairy products available at the front counter and fresh meats available at the rear counter. They also make full meals which are ready to eat.”

“Fantastic fresh foods. Fresh soups. Big Salad Bar great for picnic. A real bonus: A full time Sushi Chef at the deli. Pop in, grab sushi made that day or place an order & shop until it’s ready for pick-up. They sell extra fresh ginger too. Delish.”

“Rancho market has some fantastic food. Easily one of the best Mexican Deli style meals I know. The portions are generous, the meat and other components are exceptional, and the people are great. As for the market side, it's a great little compact "corner market" style place with a decent selection for a small market. It's no supermarket, of course, but we've had good luck getting what we needed most of the time. It's my go to stop for food in Glen Ellen when I'm not looking to do the "fine dining" experience that's available in the area. This is all about good unpretentious Mexican food.”

“Best burrito in the greater north bay area, I've hit just about every Mexican spot you can think of from hopland to SF and yet I've passed this place dozens of times. Today I corrected that mistake and am forever changed. Chicken and pastor to die for, friendly folks, reasonable prices, burrito came out super fresh and hot in under 3 mins.”

“Today, I ordered a spicy chicken burrito(deluxe). It was really good. I didn't have to wait long either due it to be ready to consume. I will definitely go back. This location is just a short juant down the street from my work. The staff was friendly as well.”

“Very good store and friendly staff, The only thing lacking and that is the same in most grocery stores in the Bay Area is a good food hot bar. All these stores have all the ingredients and products to make good food but most of them make lousy food.”

“During our stay in Yountville for our Napa Valley wine trek last year, we discovered Ranch Market that had some great options for alcohol and sparkling waters for us to take home prior to the 9 pm shutdown for most of the towns restaurants. The decor looked like most local mini-marts and markets outside of the typical chains that are still stuck in the 1970s and 80s: off-white and beige walls, red linoleum floors, knickknacks and tshirts for sale, a deli for ordering sandwiches during the day, fresh fruit and cheeses (and French loaves), other essential grocery and pharmaceutical and some household items, and cold and room temperature beverages, including wine, beer, and booze. I was impressed they had a liquor license to sell liquor such as whiskey. The store assistants were friendly and funny who said, "you definitely need water if you have been drinking wine all day." To which I responded, "yup, doing it all again tomorrow."”

“Seriously the best.I am fortunate to live in a town with a very good co-op system that has an amazing bulk-food selection, but these beans/lentils/hominy blow EVERYTHING ELSE out of the water! The freshness is unbeatable, and the flavor is always so savory and delicious. I highly recommend following their blog for creative ways to incorporate beans into your daily existence.Thank you, Rancho Gordo and Steve Sando; I am now a total bean-nerd because of you.”

“I was trying to reach somebody in the offices, but they are remarkably below the radar on the Internet. I love this salsa, so much I drive 20 minutes to get it even though I have four other grocery stores between my home and that destination. We've been buying it for a couple of years. I just picked one up from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City and something has changed that I am alarmed about! This batch tastes like marinara sauce. The color I noticed when I went to grab it out of the case was bright orange, not the deep red color that I'm used to. The consistency looked different too, chunky like tomato sauce and when I dipped the chip in and took a bite, it tasted completely bland. I'm hoping this is just a momentary problem with one batch and not that the company has been bought out by a bigger entity who messed up the recipe or that the company messed with the recipe. If anyone from Salsa of Sonoma happens to read this and respond, I would love to know what you think happened here. I'm a loyal fan though. Thus the five star rating even though the container in my fridge raider right now is about a 1 star.”

“Of the Ranch Markets this one is far superior especially compared to the Yountville Ranch Market. These sandwiches are fully of meat and condiments so you feel like the purchase was worth thr money. It's also helps the staff is very friendly and quick. Service is fanatical. Definitely recommend and will be going back.”

“Lar carnitas the best, kidneys and cueritos are cool, not to mention the legs. Mexican style sodas. Ooooo wait for the tortillas made by hand or with a torte, I don't know but they are a delight. The truth is, it is a pleasure to eat this typical Mexican food.”

“I love small town grocery stores. Reminds me of my childhood. Two large grocery chain stores are nearby, so this is as much a convenience store as a true grocery store. Ah well...”
