Raley's on Main Street has served Oakley since 1989. It is an excellent grocery destination with everything you need, including a great selection of meat, shelf stable merchandise, hygiene and house cleaning items. Many customers find it way more affordable than other stores, offering similar health food brands at half the price. The customer service is often described as awesome and excellent, with nice and friendly people, especially in the bakery. The convenience of online shopping and pickup is also appreciated. However, some note recent cutbacks. There are usually only one or two checkout lines open despite crowds, and courtesy clerks are rare, forcing checkers to bag. Shelves are not stocked the way they used to be, and shopping carts are few and far between. The store has not reopened its second door, initially due to COVID and now cited as because of theft, despite having a security guard. Some feel service has suffered due to these changes. Overall, many are fond of the people and service, with some citing great customer service, while others express frustration with the current operations.

The Raley’s on Main Street is excellent, and we truly appreciate the convenience of its online shopping and pickup service, especially when we’ve been recovering from illness and need to conserve energy by not shopping in person.
