Yuen Hop has been around for a while. They have produce and various Chinese/Asian candies and dried goods. They have frozen dumplings and pot stickers. What they're most known for is their fresh noodles which you cook up yourself at home. Keep in mind that fresh noodles can go bad relatively quickly compared to dried noodles and some of them cook quicker than others.

i find this place distinct from other local grocers for their fresh and dry noodles, tofu/bean curd/bean sprouts/fresh shiitake, and locally-made frozen dumplings in the freezer section. reasonable prices and helpful staff.

Great market in Chinatown in business for many decades. Fresh noodles daily. Fruits, vegetables, & cooking staples. Friendly & quick cashiers.

Best fresh noodles -- of all types -- in the East Bay. We typically buy the size for garlic noodles. They cook in boiling water in 2-3 minutes and have an excellent "chew" when eaten. Fabulous the next day as leftovers. Also a pretty decent little Asian market, too. I typically pick up some king oyster mushrooms every time I go there.

Love that this place offers fresh tofu, noodles, and potsticker and wonton skins! They also have a nice variety of sauces and condiments- it's a good option to stop by if you need to grab something quick instead of making the trek to KP mart or Ranch 99

Giving this a good rating simply because their fresh noodles are really good. We got a packet of Hong Kong noodles which ended up tasting so springy and “Q”. They maintained a great taste and texture even 6 days later. It’s hard to find good Chinese noodles so I was impressed!

Oh Yuen hop, how I love you! Best noodles- different textures , types (egg noodles, etc) all in various baggies ranging from a few ounces to 10 lbs. yes, I have bought multiple 10 lb bags in past and divided them with family members to freeze. I get my tofu skin, wonton wrappers, egg roll wrappers, bean sprouts, tofu here too and don't differ to pick up rice noodles for pad see ew. I even noticed kewpie Mayo today! Not all the staff speak English but be patient and polite as they will find someone who can help you. I love this place and you should, too!

Great place to buy fresh noodles! They have a huge variety and are super friendly. They accept cards but I usually bring cash with me.

FRESH NOODLES! We come here to get Ee-Fu noodle for hot pot, thick noodles for the infamous garlic noodle, and fresh chow fun. It's cheaper the more poundage of noodle you purchase. We usually get the 5 cakes of Ee Fu noodle and the 10 pound bag of thick noodle ($13). Parking is tricky, so usually D drops me off and "double parks" while I run in.
