I've been to this pharmacy previously (last year and prior) and again on October 12th for Covid and Flu vaccines. The staff is NOT welcoming or friendly at all. We're all living in stressful times and friendliness goes a long way!

i'm bummed to be recommending a corporate chain over a local business, but if you're looking for a pharmacy with friendlier staff or more convenient hours, try one of the safeway pharmacies.

Everyone in this pharmacy has been helpful, kind, and extremely competent (more than I can say for some bigger box competitors!). I've always gotten questions answered quickly and they run things quite efficiently. I have to highly recommend the pharmacist from whom I have received my last two Covid vaccinations (and I'm sad to say I did not ask his name, but have learned through reading reviews his name is Andrew. Thank you Andrew!). He takes time to properly place the shot in your arm which can minimize soreness -- something I have never had another vaccine provider do. He throughly explains everything and I always walk away knowing a bit more than when I came in. Thank you Andrew and team!

I love the pharmacist and the staff there! I had never really paid attention to the little business until the pandemic. My neighbor recommended them for vaccinations. Theirs was the ONE website that reliably easy to book appointments on, and I was juggling making them for 3 people, myself and two daughters. The staff were all more than competent, they were also really kind, patient, and helpful with advising me about when my girls could get vaccinated. That was tricky because they were both on the thresholds of vaccination rollouts at various times like 12/13, or 15/16. They were all more than just professionally civil, they were genuinely kind, even when it looked to "a mother's eye" like they might be tired or weary. (not like snarky way.) The pharmacist would let me go in the small vaccination area with my "big baby" 13 year old who hated shots. It gave me a chance to chat with him in addition to my own shots. I totally appreciate, and agree with, his perspective. The small seating area, and vaccination area was clearly not designed as a "medical office", meant to be performing medical services. But it was clean enough and they did a great service to the community by operating as a vaccination site. It looks like they are one of few compounding pharmacies left, that can customize prescriptions for people who need that done. Here in late stage capitalism, it is a miracle such places still exist. I am fed up with CVS closing stores and just firing their pharmacy staff. There are plenty of other places to get generic basics, and call themselves "drugstores." I am thinking of having all our prescriptions filled here, if they'd have us. I don't know if they are "taking new patients" so to speak. This was one of the bright spots in the cloud of the pandemic for our family. And I would love to support a small business if I can, and get out of the giant "mousetrap game" style hell of corporate, big box drugstores whose pharmacy staff are all getting screwed over.

I was hesitant to go because of some of the reviews, but thankfully all the staff I met were very friendly, informative, and efficient.

Been using them since they opened. Responsive and reliable. My only issue was that for one of my seven prescriptions they could not match the price i could get elsewhere, so i moved that one prescription and left the other six with them. Questions about any of my medications were clearly and concisely answered. Vaccinations also went smoothly for both my daughter and me.

I got my bivalent booster here on Friday. I was a bit worried after reading reviews about the staff here, but the woman who checked me in was very nice and the man who vaccinated me was courteous. The place is pretty tiny and there was a little bit of a line when I arrived but the process went quickly and I got through just a few minutes after arriving. I didn't try to get my vaccine in my right arm, but I overheard the person in front of me tell her boyfriend you don't get a choice. The space is super small and the vaccinator sits to your left. One thing to note is they don't have you stay there for a monitoring period as has happened at each of my other Covid vax appointments. Not sure if this isn't done anymore or they just don't have the space to do that so don't.

People should stop going to CVS and use this small business. Fast service. Thank you.

A small prescription-filling business on Piedmont in Oakland. When your prescriptions are not filled on time, it is necessary to keep after them. The staff are nice and trying their best.

Got a booster at Wellspring RX on Piedmont. Couldn't believe how fast they were! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Efficient, competent, & very pleasant. Pharmacy is cozy, just across from the movie theater.

Horrible customer service !!!! Rude incompetent front desk women!! She said that I did not have an appointment even though she was the one who put her initials on my vaccination card! Clearly incompetent. The pharmacist in the back (older man with grey hair) was abusive yelling at me with his finger in my face! This business should be investigated by the health dept. It was dirty and had a bad smell as well. The staff are nasty and totally incompetent. What a disgusting group of people!!!!

I had booked an appointment for a Covid booster through MyTurn.CA. When I arrived for the appointment I was told that they no longer have a contract with Kaiser Permanente and the appointment was cancelled. The clerk also said that she had left a phone message 3 days previously to inform me. No such message existed on my phone. When I returned home, I had 2 email messages notifying me of the cancellation sent minutes before

Their website says they're open 9-5:30 pm on Tuesday but went there just before 5 pm and there were 5 or 6 people in the small space all staring at us as we walked in. A huge white dog was in the cramped space and jumped as we walked in. They closed early and the staff was all standing ready to leave in the entry, though their hours show they're open. We'd missed a booster appt by 20 min and wanted to see if they might be able ti fit us in. They all STARED at us and made my son and I feel super uncomfortable. The space was dirty and dark and I can't imagine code allows huge hairy dogs in pharmacies where vaccinations are done. Aren't you a medical office? Will never go back. Funny how the angry owner blames us in his response and acts like a victim instead of addressing the issues. Pretty much sums up this place. Doesn't address closing before posted hours, the dirty medical space, giant dog, and rude treatment of customers, even children! Instead he admits they closed early and lies. Yep, he lied, cause they cancelled our 4:36 appt (what kind of lame appt time is this anyway) after 14 minutes and we cane just after that! Check out the photo proof. And we didn't show up at 5:36 liar! I most certainly don't trust getting vaccinated here, and will go to Safeway but you making even my young son feel uncomfortable is not cool. Do better.

Hmmm shoulda looked first. BUT. counter staff ( 2 women) were wonderful. Went in for 2nd booster. What a j*** of a guy giving it. Painful but that's to be expected. Nothing nice outta his mouth. Sorry buddy I've worked jobs that have been hard myself but ya know what-if it wasn't for folks like me coming in for services you wouldn't have that job. Don't lay that crap on us.
