Melinda at the pharmacy was super helpful, friendly, and overall a pleasure to deal with. There was some bureaucratic stuff that she had to manage thanks to my insurance, and she dealt with it seamlessly.
Grateful for people like her that made picking up my prescription less of a pain.

I had very bad experience in this pharmacy. I was actually mistreated by the lady behind the counter. I have an insurance card but she said she will offer me a cheaper product (I didn't say I can't pay either). She want me to stay outside until she gets the medicine from outside. Then I finally saw one of her personnel count Vitamin D-3 capsules from a big jar. I still don't know what was going on, he was also trying to convince me that these capsules are better for me as they are softer instead of the other brand in a white containers. Something was wrong, the team's action was alarming! I am not going back to this store again!

I have been very impressed with the dedicated pharmacists as well as the rest of the Walgreens staff. Lucy was very helpful to me when I was looking for a particular kind of Sudafed and while the pharmacists were very busy, they were able to fill a prescription that came from a doctor in New York. I have often shown up at 8am and been greeted warmly by the staff, who are always happy to help! Even their security guards are courteous and kind.

This store will not process your online order. So when you go to the store, everything is $1-2 more than online, and you will not be able to even fulfill your own order. You will pay more in person to fulfill your own order. Half the store no merchandise. Manager and staff do not care.

When they have your medicine in stock and have no questions, this place works pretty well. But woe unto thee if you need to get in contact with them for any reason. They do not notify you if they are unable to fill a prescription, and they never (never) answer the phone, so it's impossible to talk to somebody without going there and person and waiting in what is always a very long line. They are chronically understaffed; I blame corporate management, not the generally nice folks who work there, who seem frazzled and overworked.

I got a flu and COVID shot here. Dee, the pharmacist, did a great job, the wait time was under 15 minutes, and the service was very thorough. Dee's injection and band-aid technique was flawless.

Multiple negative experiences here—the aisles are disorderly and the floors dirty; lots of irate customers who inappropriately vent with vulgar, abusive language towards the staff; the pharmacy staff appears disengaged and often confused about costs of scripts when customer is paying out of pocket; on at least one occasion I received recorded information about when my script would be ready and when I arrived it was not; my car glass was vandalized in the pharmacy parking lot with nothing visible inside; very little to recommend this site—perhaps Walgreens can shutter it as it had many others—transferring my script

If we can forget about your car, getting broken into, getting discriminated against because of your orientation, or some other reason, getting treated, extremely rudely, witnessing armed, robberies in progress, witnessing assault and batteries in progress, witnessing domestic violence in progress, witnessing shoplifting, both Grand and petty theft in progress and manynother such crimes, this is an absolutely wonderful place to shop! (oakland is a lost cause, like the east bay in general, and the new DA is exonerating criminals and murderers)

Ordered online and did the whole curbside pickup fill-in to let them know I arrived. Sat in the car for 10 minutes & nobody showed up, ended up calling the store and was told to wait another 10 minutes. Ended up going into the store and no iota of apology, handed me my package with “oh, it’s you?”. This is surely the last time I’m EVER spending my money at this store

This is for the hygiene around the pharmacy, or lack therof. Went to get a covid vax yesterday and was shocked at the filth in the whole area - some sort of brownish cr*p all over the floor, what looked like blood stains on the chairs where you wait for the shot, and more. Utter filth. Isn't this supposed to be a clean, hygienic area? The pharmacists are ok. It's just that this place is obviously not cleaned on a regular basis, if at all. It was disgusting.

Don’t park here. Cars get broken into *constantly* even if left for only a few min. Also, this Walgreens has many empty shelves and not enough items in stock. Couldn’t even find a decent toothpaste here but still had my car windows smashed by the time I left the store.

Came to do a walk in. Told me I couldn't be seen without an appointment even though the site allows walk ins. The appointment time was in 20 mins from time I came. Don't understand the purpose of that.
