I called and asked to have my sons meds shipped because their specialty meds & the Walgreens by me doesn't do those meds. Either way this Walgreens in vallejo is bad anyways. Going back to it, The young man on phone explained everything about meds & how it works & stuff. He shipped it in a timely manner. He was very polite to us. Only problem I had was he said he will tell them to call us when they get here & they did not. By sheer luck my nephew was here & heard knock at door. Otherwise I would of not got our meds cause we have to sign for it & we can't hear knock in back of house. But Walgreens was perfect otherwise.

This is more of a review for the Walgreens app, and a warning to users of this store in particular. I directed a prescription here on the app then went to pick it up only to find they only serve certain kinds of prescriptions here. The app should know and not allow you to order prescriptions here that don't match what they serve. For privacy I'm not going to write what prescriptions they do and do not serve but if you're doctor is writing one please be sure to check with them that this pharmacy is the right one. Otherwise I have gotten COVID shots here and the pharmicists and their assitstents were good (though it took a little while).

I have a specialty medicine that is mailed from this pharmacy every month. The staff faithfully calls me as a reminder and they are very courteous and helpful.

I have a special depot medicine I have to get filled every two weeks. The pharmacist clerk called to place my order. I told her when she asked where she should ship my rx to, she should ship it to the Walgreens on Cutting Blvd in Richmond. What did she do? She shipped it to San Pablo and Laurie Lane where the Walgreens is never open. I called the community pharmacy in Oakland to ask where the medicine is at since it was mailed on 3/24/23. The lady Rita told me my medicine was in Richmond. I told her no it wasn't. She told me I just need to let them know it's a depot as if I'm incompetent. I told her her colleague goofed up. She checked and said they sent it to the Walgreens that's never open on San Pablo and Laurie Lane. I called corporate and they do what they do best, nothing. I understand why they are downsizing.

The nicest pharmacy staff ever. Always call me when I need my Humira shipped. They always take care of any problems. I appreciate them so much. Literally I am lucky they care about their customer. I used to go to CVS and no offense to them but holy cow night and day difference. Crazy how customer service can go such a long way. With me being chronically ill, they make getting my Humira so less stressful and always on time

The pharmacists used to be so helpful here, and convinced me to stay with them even after I moved away. So they were shipping my prescription to other pharmacies for a couple years, even though at first I didn’t think it was efficient. Now I get a call from a new (?) pharmacist there and he was completely out of line and RUDE. The worst experience I’ve ever had with a pharmacist... I have cut my ties with this pharmacy and I’ve already switched to a new location. Don’t forget that you are working with PATIENTS. If you can’t work with people, then this shouldn’t be your job.

TL/DR: person that gave me my shot didn't put on clean gloves before doing so after touching multiple non-sterile things outside the procedure room. Full Review I came here for my Covid booster. They seemed to be very frazzled and rushed even though there were only 3 total customers while I was there (appx 30min) - one ahead of me, myself, and one after. The true reason for the bad review is bc the person who gave me my booster shot did not follow proper medical hygiene. The injection took place in a separate little room off the waiting area. The employees have to come out of the pharmacy area, go through the waiting area, and then enter the little room that has keypad lock. The person who gave me my injection came out of the pharmacy area already wearing gloves and didn't change those gloves for my injection. So she handles god knows what while she was in the pharmacy, touched multiple door handles, a key pad to access the little room, and various items in the little room, all before giving me my shot wearing those same gloves. I started to ask her to change them but my nerves got the best of me so I stayed quiet. But the more I thought about it, the more upset I became so I'm leaving this review. I wouldn't trust them to handle anything else after what I experienced.
