A lot of ppl who REALLLLLY need help come in here and that may negatively impact ones experience… but the staff genuinely does the best. if you need a toiletry or cosmetics item in a pinch as well as snacks, really not a bad option. And my rating is taken for account that we are in America, I’m not a real first world country. Passport photos in 15 min tho and super friendly manager!!

I asked staff how much the price of an item is and he refused to scan it and said that front desk would know. Please tag prices of all items.

Pricing is wacky. I checked online and my item should have been $5. I figured ok it is $1 at other stores, but I will pay $5 for convenience. At checkout it was $12.50! The dude had me put in my phone number and then it was $7.50.
It's like paying airport prices. It isn't as if the stores are pleasant either, stuff is locked up and long lines and the staff seemed fed up even more than the customers.
I guess we should be grateful they are still open. After they drove all the other drugstores out of business they have been closing them, I had to walk 10 blocks to get to the nearest drugstore in downtown oakland!

Pharmacy Staff - I’m a type 1 diabetic and I have never struggled so much to get an RX filled. They will blow up your phone for HOURS, only to pick up the phone with an attitude, leave you on hold for 20 - 40 minutes, and then hang up. FOUL.

There is this one cashier named celia; and she is one the most excellent people in customer service I encountered. She's great with kids and she is fast an efficient.

The pharmacy staff are helpful… But the security guard (RITTENHOUSE) was very aggressive for no reason. I think that a white security guard working in a historically black neighborhood should be aware of how his actions can be interpreted as microaggresions. He stood way too close to me in line, and when I asked for some personal space because of COVID (we are in a surge, and this is a PHARMACY afterall) he responded with, “oh I forgot. People are freaking out about that again..” and rolled his eyes… He then proceeded to cough without covering his mouth and clear his throat repeatedly without covering his mouth. It seemed 100% intentional. This behavior is unacceptable in a PHARMACY. Please train all staff members to at least pretend they are aware of how infectious diseases spread.

Closed at least 15 mins early. They do not say, but security will not let you in. It's happened to me twice, and ... There is no other food for many blocks, as a result of this, I will avoid even entering. Walgreens is greedy and dishonest.

Customer service needs a lot of work maybe if they hired people that weren't just Hispanic and Asian they might have better quality service so they can deal with all of the English speakers that come in there to shop

you people hired kids to run this store. nasty attitudes, unprofessional and know nothing about their products or profession. i plan to file consumer fraud against walgreen and american express. i have purchased 3 cards in two (2) days which i can't use because no one takes american express gift cards anymore. which i believe walgreen's knew but still selling american express cards to consumers and cheating us, which we have to discard because unable to use. walgreen's won't take them back because american express and walgreens have already been paid, why pay us back. lyers and cheats!
