The shelves are bare, like they are closing. The pharmacy is always messing up prescriptions.Customer service is nonexistent ??

Atrocious customer service, the staff is consistently rude and unhelpful. Heard two employees talking about how much they didn't like the customers within ear shot of several people shopping. Poorly managed location, will not be going back there again. The store itself is woefully understocked looks like they are going out of business.

Not a reflection on the pharmacists necessarily, but more on the total lack of staffing. This is a large pharmacy with lots of traffic, and as soon as they had more than one person show up for an appointment everything just fell apart. Waited almost 1.5 hours for a fly shot appointment, after showing up 15 minutes early.

This is for the hygiene around the pharmacy, or lack therof. Went to get a covid vax yesterday and was shocked at the filth in the whole area - some sort of brownish cr*p all over the floor, what looked like blood stains on the chairs where you wait for the shot, and more. Utter filth. Isn't this supposed to be a clean, hygienic area? The pharmacists are ok. It's just that this place is obviously not cleaned on a regular basis, if at all. It was disgusting.

Came to do a walk in. Told me I couldn't be seen without an appointment even though the site allows walk ins. The appointment time was in 20 mins from time I came. Don't understand the purpose of that.

I guess my previous review has been removed. You shouldn't be treated like crap by a pharmacy. If you're taking anti-anxiety, painkillers, hormones... a trained doctor has prescribed these to you.This pharmacy and head pharmacist are sadistic and like to think they know better than your doctor. You do not have to go to this pharmacy. I saw some controversy regarding someone being refused hormones and that the head pharmacist finally intervened and filled the prescription. No one should be put in such a vulnerable position and management allowed that scenario to occur. Do not let that head pharmacist off the hook. Who the heck allowed someone to even consider they had the option of not filling this prescription.

If you're withholding medication from someone who's transitioning because it goes against your religious beliefs, then you need to go find a different career that doesn't interfere with your religious beliefs. Walgreens needs to fire the man that refused to give a trans man his hormone treatment if they claim they support the LGBTQ+ community.

Apparently, Walgreens is letting Pharmacists not fill prescriptions for "religious reasons". It's illegal in California, but they don't care. If you have HRT or birth control you need filled, don't come here, because you will face discrimination.

Withholding medication for religious beliefs has no place in Oakland. The pharmacist should find a new occupation where he isn’t capable of negatively impacting the lives of his neighbors with his out dated beliefs. Will never be coming here again.

I live four blocks from this Walgreens. I posted a negative review about the drug dealers outside the store near the bus stop and Yelp informed me that I violated terms and conditions because I was brigading against Walgreens due to some recent news article or something that had nothing to do with my review of this Walgreens. Yelp told me that I could have my account closed for posting a negative review about this Walgreens. So, go ahead and close my account, Yelp.

Slowest pharmacy since penicillin was discovered. Never going back. It clearly doesn't place any emphasis on customer service.
