Vic was a tremendous resource during my recent joint purchase of a house with my partner. This was not my first time buying a home, but it was the first time that I felt completely informed at every step of the loan process. From the moment we contacted him and said we were actively looking all the way through closing, Vic stayed abreast of developments in the market and delivered timely information and updates so that we would be able to get the best deal possible. He and his team had a fast turnaround time when providing necessary documents to our realtor and escrow company, avoiding unnecessary delays and allowing us to close quickly and smoothly. Vic helped me save $20k on out of pocket costs! I met Vic coincidentally through another person while in escrow. After talking and going over the numbers, Vic caught a huge mistake in my previous lender’s loan disclosure. He was organized, efficient, and incredibly thorough. Even though we lost a week since I switched lender, Vic still helped me close on time. We worked with Vic as our lender when buying our first house and had a great experience! I am a spreadsheet person. I love talking numbers, I love seeing different scenarios laid out next to each other, and in most situations I make a spreadsheet like that myself to help me grasp the whole picture. Vic makes that kind of spreadsheet himself and they were SO extremely helpful to us as we were sorting out how much we wanted to thin out or stretch our budget. There's a ton of information packed into one of those sheets but Vic was always willing and openly offering to schedule time together to go through each detail even though he himself has a very busy schedule. Despite all this he was always finding ways to accommodate us and when we needed things clarified he did a great job of breaking down what the numbers meant and why it may be advantageous to pick one scenario over another. Put another way, he really helped educate us in the loan process and language, rather than just giving us one number we were stuck with, so now thanks to him we're much better equipped going forward if we ever need a loan again or when we refinance.For our specific purchase things got a little wonky at the eleventh hour because it was a limited authority probate sale, but Vic rolled with the punches smoothly, he kept a cool head, took the time to carefully explain our very unusual situation, gently advised us which path would be best to follow, and then quickly turned things around in time for closing and got us a great rate given the current climate. I don't believe another lender would have been able to pull off such last minute changes in the middle of escrow but Vic kept the process rolling on through the finish line! After closing, it also seems he sends out a little newsletter in the physical mail that has some housing news and a little blurb about what he's been up to in his personal life which I think is really sweet. We'd definitely recommend him to others when they're looking for a lender and we'll also be speaking to him again when we eventually refinance. Thank you so much Vic!!

Vic Joshi is a rare combination of savage mortgage and finance guru and heart-centered, empathetic, real person. Our realtors told us he is the one they go to when things are sticky; that he has the creative solutions when other brokers hit a wall. We had a very complex situation: two self-employed earners with new businesses, student loans all complicated by the forbearance situation, co-signers, imperfect credit, etc. Vic guided us through several dark and thorny pathways, made us run when we had to and held our hand and encouraged us the entire time. I still can't believe we have a beautiful home in the bay area during this insane market period. We would chose to work with him again without a thought! My family and I are forever grateful!

Vic is so knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He got us all set up and pre-approved before we started looking. When the home we found was a new build and we worked with the builders lending team, Vic was gracious and gave us his blessing. However before long we were calling him for advice again and we decided to switch back to working with Vic and he saved our transaction and got us into our house. Vic is responsive and he worked hard behind the scenes to make everything work. I highly recommend him for his customer service and his experience. Ihave purchased over a dozen homes in my lifetime and I have never worked with a better lending partner.

Vic is the best. My wife and I don't know much about real estate financing, but Vic has always been there to help us with the process and never once made us feel like idiots or like we were wasting his time. He's always been crazy busy but always makes himself available to us when we need to ask questions. Frankly, he feels like a finance partner you want on your team whenever financing any real estate investments. We've worked with him to refinance our condo in the bay area, to finance our new home in central California and we'd be crazy not to work with him again on any future financing.
