Elderly individuals and limited experience clients should come with chaperones with financial experience. The people at this branch will try to hustle you into credit cards, especially if you don’t understand how they work. A lot of US Bank branches in downtown Oakland are closed on the weekends so this branch uses it as an opportunity to sell things to clients who do not usually do their banking there. Be careful!

Terrible customer service after Josh left. New manager, Jay lacks professionalism and management skills. Bindra needs to revisit teller school. She lacks the skills needed to perform her job. Too busy trying to push credit card offers than basic banking skills. For the area, go to First Republic Bank. They are better equipped to service your banking needneeds.branches are closing

Love this place. We just moved our business account here after our previous (small, local) bank was less than responsive during the pandemic. We feel very well taken care of here!

I love this bank! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Ahmed is great and the bank manager is also really nice. I go out of my way to do my banking there. Really great service.

Bad first impressions can be difficult to recover from, but it only took 25 minutes for the US Bank branch in the Montclair Village to bomb it entirely. I scheduled an appointment with Joshua Foster two days ago to discuss opening a new account, but he never called me at our scheduled time. After waiting 20 minutes, I called the branch and asked for Joshua. The person I spoke to said that he was with another client. When I responded that I had an appointment with him 20 minutes ago, he said that he must be running late. And that if I want to see him, that I need to come into the branch. Being a business woman, I understand that meetings can run behind schedule. But if they do, let your client know that it is, especially when they are new prospects. It's been over 45 minutes and I still never received an email or call from Joshua. U.S. Bank may be recognized for their business checking accounts for small businesses, but how they run business at this particular location is very unprofessional. And I would not recommend working with them.

I would normally never write a review about banks because I'm not at that level of n**** but I had the absolute friendliest interaction here while getting a cashier's check. I've never been disappointed with their customer service, and I always come in to do transactions in person instead of the ATM because of the personal touch.

Fantastic customer service. The staff actually enjoy working there. They've even got free parking for their customers. Nice that they're open on Saturdays. Really attentive employees and great follow through on meeting their customer needs. Love these guys.

Finally found a ATM that is not my bank, but will allow me to withdraw cash without fees! $1000 is the maximum. Plenty of street parking. Just watch out for the soccer mommies driving full sized SUVs with Keep Tahoe Blue bumper stickers!

If you have to use this location, avoid Jessica Willingham, the Assistant Manager, at all costs. She lacks professionalism, customer service, ethics and/or follow up. I had a very serious situation and she let the matter linger for days causing additional problems. Of course, she took the credit for solving the problem when asked by her manager, Josh Foster. I find her to be a liar and self serving. She does NOT represent the ethics that the company claims that they stand for. Brian and Jose at the Foothill location are the only reason, I gave two stars instead of one. Foothill branch is great.

I purchased three dollars at this establishment and they charged me three hundred cents for them, a ridiculous markup. I also had a hard time convincing them to count all the pennies. Do not recommend (good lollipops)

Avoid US Bank at all costs!!! The more reviews I read the more I wish I had read them years ago. Wow. I'm horrified at this bank. They do not care about anything besides taking your money. Literally taking it with ridiculous fees and infinite phone tree run arounds. They can apply a late fee to my account just for fun following their own mistake but they cannot reverse it or provide written documentation of their reversal? Yup. Literally. What a mess. Closing all accounts ASAP.

I had an ready to go auto loan from another branch. My branch sent my documents to this branch so that I can get my check to get my new car last week. There was only two person working there! I had to wait half an hour just so that I could talk to them! They refused to do my loan and I had to contact my bank and go to another branch!
