Brought my Edge in from my mechanic for a suspected recalled cracked flex plate. Originally called Uptown and was told they don't have loaners. After rereading the recall letter and calling other dealers, I called Uptown back and was connected to Allie who immediately took everything into her hands and made my experience so smooth and easy; connected me with a loaner/rental and made the pickup seamless. She kept me updated with parts deliveries and gave a heads up when my car would be ready. Even helped me coordinate loaner drop off and pickup of my car after I had surgery and couldn't drive. She is a gem - ask for her and she will take the best care of you! Thanks Allie and Uptown Ford Service!

I’m a recent road trip from Los Angeles to Seattle and back, my driver side car seat got stuck in the full forward position (all electric seat) by a shot legged valet driver.I was forced to cramp myself in and try to find a way fix it.I was about 4 miles from Uptown ford and drove there ASAP. I wouldn’t be able to drive home.I met Tim at the service Dept and he took care of the problem in about an hour. I don’t know how to thank them for taking me in without an appointment and getting me back on the road in comfort snd safety .If they treat visitors this well I’m sure Locsl customers and Ford are blessed to have such a wonderful and talented group to take care of their vehicles.Thanks Tom & Juan and anyone else who helped in the process.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Nobody likes it when your car breaks down, especially in another city. After a breakdown, car was towed to Uptown Ford.No shade to throw on my usual repair shop, but the people in service department there are the friendliest, most helpful service people I've ever encountered. Professional repair, competitive pricing, and just overall good vibes.I'm not looking to replace my car anytime soon, but when it's time, Uptown is definitely on my short list to shop. I love it when the service department does sales. Thanks all!

I usually take my mustang to Walnut Creek but this new location is way closer! I scheduled a service 2 weeks in advance. Had a regular check up / oil change done. It took 3 hours, everyone was friendly, and best of all I got my car back super clean and shiny ✨

The entire staff is incredible, but, especially Service Manager, Gile. I called him galactically incredible! I brought my 2014 Flex in for a normal 120k service, but mentioned that there is a strange scraping sound at the right front wheel. I said that it can only be observed at highway speeds and is not just observable. He said they would check it out on the highway. My previous three 10k services were at Hilltop Ford in Richmond, where I mentioned the same thing. They obviously didn't test drive on the highway (and I80 is right outside their doors)! Well, Uptown definitely went the distance and said the bearings were shot. Obviously I requested a fix. Additionally, although, I didn't need them, I requested four new tires as I drive great distances and, although unnecessary now, I knew they would need replacement soon. Boy, was I glad I did! Once they examined all axles, they determined many more problems, including a need to replace an entire axle and many other safety problems. He told me that they are required by law to not let anyone leave with the vehicle in that condition as it is a fatal hazard. Obviously Hilltop did not care. Besides requesting a significant raise for Gile and his team, I demand that Hilltop be reprimanded with proof of that reprimand!

Set up an appointment with Gile. Everything went like clockwork. Timing, parts, customer service was 5 stars. Very professional and accommodating. Will continue to bring my fleet and personal vehicle to this location.

Bought 2022 Ford Ranger from Uptown Ford in Oakland, Finance through Ford Credit. Finance person At Uptown Ford is Ray. While waiting for Ford credit, I was told by Ray, everything is going well, explained the loans that my first payment would be in October that was a lie, Ford Credit send us billing due September 27, I was furious, I send my payment of more than expected payment and this month October got another bill and on it they applied my payments to the interests and principal of my car loans.Ray, the finance person at Uptown lied again, he told me all my payments will go to the principals of my loan.I call Ford Credit and they do anything about it.If you're buying a car from Uptown Fiord in Oakland, it's best to go somewhere else. Ray giving me a false information. I will voluntarily returned the Ford Ranger back to Ford Credit.I don't about my credits but will fight in court how well the people in Sales/Finances lied just to get their sales for the month. I prayed these people can't sleep due to the crooked way of doing business.

Upon arrival was greeted with a warm welcome from the service manager David. He took my vehicle right in even without an appointment. The service was speedy and detailed. The technician Jose did a great job with servicing my vehicle. The customer waiting room was clean as well as the restrooms. The complete atmosphere was relaxing, Including the jazz music in the back ground. Most definitely will be returning for all future services for my vehicle...

Had to bring my car in for a check engine light so glad we have a Ford dealer in Oakland. They were able to get it check out for me no appointment needed...even the Mechanic came out and chatted with me. They just opened up so a bunch of construction is going on but I will be coming back for service and maybe to upgrade when I have the money.

This business is not ready for prime time. I brought my vehicle in during their soft open. After it was with them a week, they couldn't figure out the problem. 1st strike. They were nice enough to say no charge. Uptown( at that point) only had a certified mechanic not a master mechanic, so they recommended I go somewhere else and helped me set up an appointment. When I get to Richmond, they say no appointment as they called Uptown and canceled it due to an internal misunderstanding. I can't fault the other place as they didn't have my phone number. Uptown didn't call me. 2nd strike. Then I call Chris K twice and left two messages. He never called back. 3rd strike. I found the experience a big waste of time and frustrating.
