“I am not in the habit of leaving reviews but have to shout out Mario and his team for being amazing mechanics - Mario is friendly, communicative, transparent about prices, waits for consent before moving forward with any repairs, explains clearly what the issue is in a way that is easy to understand but without being mansplainy or condescending, and also won’t pressure you to do any work that isn’t essential. Both times I have been he has kept the car part that was the issue to show me exactly what happened. After my previous long term mechanic shut down in 2020, I had a few bad experiences going to other places that took advantage of my trust/naivety and lack of knowledge about cars. A few friends recommended MJs (which funnily enough is in the same location as my old trusted mechanic!) and both the times I have been were great experiences. And just found out they do smog checks too! So glad to have found a new reliable trusted mechanic. Thanks to the whole crew at MJs!”
“I was initially introduced to Bill through Fantasy Junction for a PPI on a classic Porsche I was looking to buy. He was in my corner on day one and was willing to inspect the car thoroughly, while navigating me through all the highs and lows of negotiating with a broker. Ultimately, I walked away from purchasing the car, but Bill was there to give me advice on these air-cooled Porsches whenever I had questions. This IS the guy you want to bring your Porsche to up in Northern California, and I'll drive 7+ hours to have him rebuild my 911 engine when it needs a "rebirth". Great to find someone who is TOP in their field!”
“Never been here before, as I was leaving work, got a low tire pressure warning light. I got out to look and the tire did look really low, a co worker told me of this place close by so I decided to have it checked out. I pulled in, they took the car into garage quickly to check the tire, found a puncture, fixed it and all done in less than an hour. Really friendly, quick, and very reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend!!!”

“Mr. Shin is the most honest, hard working car mechanic I've ever hired. He will text you details on what exactly he worked on with your car and send you videos so you never feel misinformed/mislead into paying too much like with most car mechanics ive hired in the past.
When one of his repairs didn't fully fix my oil pressure he took it in again and worked on it for days until it got fixed and he didn't charge me anything. Highly recommended if you own a German vehicle and want an extremely thorough and honest mechanic.”

“I had my 2017 Subaru Forester check by the dealer and I was told I need a transmission. I was given and outrageous quote for a full rebuild and got a second opinion from ER transmission. They checked my vehicle and told me that I only need it a valve body. They fix it for under $3k. My vehicle is running like new. Am glad I decided to get a second opinion. Thank you ER”
