No security on the day I was shopping ,my entire work truck was stolen 5 minutes after my arrival with a lifetime of tools in it,the manager said "well, were not responsible " so I'm screwed , did research, 15 robberies and stolen cars at this store alone but no reviews indication so,odd.

Morteza at Home Depot Emeryville Milleorks ordered all my windows and doors. Andersen cancelled his order bc Andersen noticed that Morteza ordered some of spacer on windows silver color and not black. He made me wait several weeks for his revised order. Per building inspector all the windows and doors have to be tempered as noted on plans; however, 23 windows have standard glass.Morteza ordered some windows and doorspainted white and others unfinished pine. Two windows have light bronze hardware, some have white hardware, and the rest have black bronze hardware. There seems no rhyme or reason for Morteza's helter-skelter and confusing M.O.On 9/20/23, Home Depot 's Stanley Lighting returned 4 windows. I have not been refunded for said windowsas promised by Mr.Lighting. Emails to Tonya T Hodge Home Depot Resolution Expeditor-Executive Escalations and CEO Ted Decker are ignored. To date they have not repied to my concerns and the above complaint. This is elder abuse fyi.

I have shopped Home Depot for years, but experiences in the past few years have been disappointing. I ordered Bali blinds from them 7 years ago. A pull string broke and I called wanting to simply replace them. Although I had all my original paperwork including the sizes their installer used originally they insisted I have a new design consultant come to my home. (I spoke with 3 different people over the phone and visited 2 locations in person. All assured me someone would have to come to my home to re-measure.)I scheduled an appointment and the woman who came said she did not have Bali as an option and only offered 2 brands that I had never heard of. By this time I had been dealing with a broken blind for over a month, so agreed to review her selection. I ordered 2 blinds to replace the broken one and the other one in the bedroom so they would match.When the installed showed up with the blinds, he determined that one of the valance pieces was broken and he would have to order a new part. He was pleasant and efficient. Within 24 hours of attempting to use these we knew we had made a mistake. Neither blind will sit on the sill. They both creep up leaving a 2-3 inch gap from the sill. They are blackout shades, but the material is so thin that heat and cold come through much more than our previous blackout shades.We went with shades instead of blinds so we wouldn't have the issue of broken cords again. Most shades have a reflex to them where you tug and they re-fill back up. These do not. We have to manually push them back up to the top.Within 24 hours I contacted our designer. She gave me Customer Service contact information. No one responded to my email complaint. When I was notified that the new valance part was in I let them know we were unhappy. After 3 days I got an email saying since this was a custom order and therefore I had no return or refund options.The only recourse is to warn others. DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR ORDERING BLINDS!

The Home cheapo is not even cheap for the headache they gave me about the merchandise I bought that was canceled by them and never delivered. The story ends that I didn't get my refund either. I had an excellent experience with Home cheapo

Do you want service? Need help bringing 16 bags of pea pebbles on a pallet to your vehicle? Are you okay waiting more than half an hour after paying for your bags for someone to come and help you but no one shows up? Well don't show up at 7pm because everyone there has clocked out mentally and physically. Right, garden person or pallet driver is at lunch at 7pm....more like lazy pos' who don't even answer intercom calls for their names.Forget it, I loaded 16 bags by myself and no one even checked to see if I paid for the bags at the exit. Security knew I was pissed and didn't want to question me or I'd fidget looking for the receipt until a Home Depot employee showed up and then they'd be forced to help me load. Lazy people working at this store. Avoid if you can. This happened the evening of 8/28/23 if a HD Supervisor wants to look into this, but I doubt it.

Such a bad shopping experience. I wish there was a better alternative near me. Items are hard to find. Project assistance doesn't exist. Expect to spend close to a hour shipping even for basic items.When in this morning to buy 3 of something. Website said they had 55 in stock. Shelf was empty. What help I could find was unable to locate any in stock. They blamed it on the night crew receiving into stock but not putting on the floor.Maybe have luck at the next closest.

First off be warned that this location is square in the middle of a large homeless encampment surrounding the parking lot. The lot itself is dirty and littered with garbage everywhere. Was watching a bird with a plastic fork in its mouth which pretty much sums it up. The store itself was fine. Couldn't find anyone to help me find anything. Took me about a long time to find what I was looking for. I eventually did. Meh.

I moved into this area not too long ago, not familiar with the area. I tried to buy one plant for my new place. I used self check out but there was a lady there who carded me. Unfortunately my id was stolen (really!) when I was traveling in London so I didn't have one. Being carded for a PLANT?!? I don't know if I was unfairly profiled or they just card people at this Home Depot, but I am never coming back to this location. The parking lot looked really shady anyways so it's for the best.

I know Home Depot has a reputation of being AWEFUL to visit. Let's talk about the reasons WHY for this particular location. I don't go to Home Depot unprepared. I look up the items I want to buy online, add them to my cart. That way, when I am there I know what aisle to find everything in. Once I get there, I find that there are NO REGISTERS OPEN, only self check. Usually I would turn around and leave if I find it too busy. But, I came prepared and everything online says it's in stock so I should have a smooth shopping experience... RIGHT?! I find my first item. Head over to my 2nd. I am in the right aisle and section, but the item I am looking for isn't there. I check behind things, look for alternatives. NOTHING. Go to find my 3rd item, it's no where to be found. Site said there was 43 in stock, and this item is large 48x90 white board panel. I try to flag down someone in orange, they are no help. I came for 8ish items and left with 1. ALSO: You would think that ordering online should be a quick in and out option. It is not. Why? Because no one is ever at the pick-up area. Very annoyed.

The biggest problem I've had with HD is their delivery. I have ordered a pedestal sink and a pricey wide-spread faucet from them three times now. the first time the pedestal came, but not the sink, the faucet had been opened and a major part was missing, and a random worktable top was included in the order, though I didn't order it. This was after my order got mixed up with another order, and when I tried to correct it they cancelled my order, not the wrong order! I took all back to the store and reordered, this time sending the items to the store so I wouldn't have to struggle with a 100 lb pedestal again. The order came a second time, the pedestal again without a sink and the faucet again with the factory seal broken. Now the pedestal sink has been reordered by the store and I just reordered the faucet because they could not do so in the store for some reason. We have to wait again to see what we get next time. Third time a charm? I'm not sure, with HD. While this is the worst, this is not the first time they have screwed up an online order! It is infuriating. I would have used Lowe's but they didn't have the items I wanted, but I swear this is the last time I'll order such items from HD.

This Home Depot has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Managers and employees are plain racist and discriminatory. They are rude and unskilled. They follow clients around and question them. Corporate has to do something about this awful service. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I had an awful experience with customer service. I purchased some cement boards and was told I'd have to come back the following day to pick them up because they were too high up on a shelf. I came back the following day and was told I couldn't pick them up because they'd have to confirm with the videos that I actually purchased them and didn't walk out with them the day before. I gathered my things to leave and the workers followed me out and grabbed security to see if I was stealing anything. I had my receipt ready because I was feeling targeted by their employees and security. I'm really concerned about their customer service and lack of professionalism!
