Brenda and her team were amazing! Very communicative throughout the process and always willing to jump on a call to answer any questions. Brenda is super knowledgeable and was very helpful navigating the craziness of going through the mortgage process especially for the first time. I just closed on my first home! I was referred to Brenda by an agent I ended up not working with, but I am so glad I ended up with the Wyatt Team for my loan application. They were very communicative, quick to process paperwork, always available for questions, and overall just a pleasure to work with. They made an intimidating process feel surprisingly straightforward. Even though I was buying a small condo and I'm sure they had other clients with more lucrative business, I never felt like I wasn't a priority. I highly recommend.

Brenda Wyatt was an absolute pleasure to work with and an incredibly thorough partner during the homebuying process. My partner and I (both first-time home buyers) are pretty savvy when it comes to internet research and educating ourselves on unfamiliar topics. But figuring out how to finance a home in 2023? There is no way we could have done that with the help of Brenda and her team.Thanks to Brenda, we were able to be among the first (and few) to take advantage of the California Dream For All shared appreciation program offered by the State of California. We feel lucky to have discovered the program in the first place—and even luckier that we found Brenda, who was as familiar with this brand new program as probably Mortgage Adviser could have possibly been. When we told her we wanted to apply, she was ready to make sure we were one of the first to get our application in the door, the day the program became available.She also had the knowledge to walk us through the complicated process of securing a mortgage—from finding the right lender, to our earnest money deposit, all the way through closing costs. She helped us compare plans, weigh the pros and cons of different down payment strategies and provided us with some pretty sweet calculators that allowed us to try out various payment plans while we built our budget.In the end (with help from a pair of excellent agents from Red Oak Realty) we got the home of our dreams. Truly! We do not feel like we are in a starter home. This feels like it could be our forever home.Thank you so, so, much Brenda!

BEYOND AMAZING! I was a first time homebuyer in a crazy market. I switched my search from the Bay Area to LA and the Wyatt team helped me. They did it over the holidays of 2021, in the middle of Covid and a snowstorm. The process was overwhelming for me, but was SO EASY thanks to Brenda's team. Brenda Wyatt stays ready!!! I came to Brenda in a frenzy after my lender almost dropped the ball which would have cost me 23k. Brenda was on deck to make sure that didn't happen and I appreciate her for that! Let me explain: my lender knew I wanted to use a cal HFA loan to cover my down payment costs and layer it with the California Association Realtors 10k grant to cover my closing Costs. He said he could do it no issue. Day 2 of escrow he realized his company's system didn't accommodate that product. I flipped out! No way was I about to leave 10k free money on the table! Then I remembered I had Brenda Wyatt at my reach as she was one of the lenders who I shopped around with for pre approval. I called her and she was READY to Lean in and help in any way. What I loved most- was her professionalism in that she didn't encourage I leave my lender...rather, she told me her company was well equipped to process my desired loan products and left it up to me. Eventually, my lenders company figured it out a few hours later but I would not have had this issue had I went with Brenda Wyatt in the first place! my point: go to Brenda Wyatt! Save yourself any head aches. Go with the most resourceful lender you can and that's Brenda Wyatt! What I learned is that the lending company matters! Is is a smaller boutique lender or a big lender with plenty of resources to accommodate these highly desired down payment assistance products.
