I've had my haircut a number of times by Val. S. I made another appointment about 6 weeks ago, explaining it was the final one before my daughter's wedding. The appointment was for tomorrow - today I get a text saying my appt was with Marco! Before a wedding would you get your haircut by someone whose work you've never experienced? Beware!

I booked an appointment with Toni and was HIGHLY disappointed. It was my first scissor cut in a long time and they did a lousy job. I booked a cut and beard trim for $90 and was in the chair for about 15 - 20 minutes tops. They spent less than a minute trimming my beard, didn't offer to or trim my eyebrows, and overall left me with a bad haircut. I went two days later to another barber and now have a great haircut. Problem was it cost me the $90 to get a less-than good haircut/beard trim from People's Barber Shop AND the cost of another barber shop visit. All in all, if you want a cut/beard trim from Toni, look elsewhere.

Went in with an appointment with Val S. and they were amazing! They were attentive and gentle and so careful! They have such good energy and I trusted them as soon as I sat down and felt so at ease. Val took such good care of me and I felt truly heard and seen. They are so talented and I would recommend everyone to work with Val! They are amazing, can't say enough about them! I hope they open their own shop one day because their energy was immaculate!

I picked Daisy because of her yelp reviews, and I left very happy! I went in need of a major clean up since I'm letting my hair grow and I told her that, n also the main goal was to get the curls going for these holiday photos. I didn't even know what I wanted and she gave me something better.

I have been seeing Amanda now for over 6 months. When I first met her we talked about how I could grow my hair out and she could cut it to help me disguise my bald spot. The plan is coming together like the A-Team! There was one interval that she was out of town and I had to go elsewhere. They cut my hair too short :( Lesson learned. I don't know how long Amanda is going to grace People's Barber with her talents but as long as she does she is my go to.

Haircut was horrible from here. I didn't get what I asked for at all. Now I gotta walk around with a bad haircut for a while. I definitely will not be coming back here. The hairstylist was grumpy and rushed the whole process. It just seems like she didn't want to be there and I wish she wasn't too. Her name was Ashley.

they fucking suck! if you're a person of color looking for an edge up do not go there! they absolutely fucked my line up, up and i went in with a very solid line up already just needed slight clean up and she fucked my hair up! i literally have to wait for my hair to grow back it's so bad! like it can't be corrected!

This is the third time I waited over 20 minutes for a haircut at this place. If you're going to overcharge people for a haircut, at least get the time intervals within 10 minutes. I do it on the phone asked me for my phone number three times already I couldn't get the reservation street. For the first time today I decided that I'm going to leave without getting the haircut after waiting 25 minutes.

I dealt with fraudulent business practices when going to the location on polk in San Francisco on Sept. 2. I scheduled an appointment and paid the agreed upon amount. After the haircut was finished. that amount was refunded and I was charged more. the price change was not discussed or disclosed to me before receiving the haircut and showing up in person. I have reached out to the business multiple times, once talking with a representative who said they would get back to me. they did not.
