The Temescal Farmer’s Market that takes place in the Department of Motor Vehicles parking lot every Sunday from ( I think) 9 am to 2pm has a great selection of absolutely the freshest vegetables, fruits and flowers.There are also great food, coffee and entertainment!

Not many fresh produce options. Very overpriced (over double the price of the farmers market in downtown Oakland). Not a lot of samples and the store owner was being passive aggressive when we sampled his fruit without buying it (they don't taste the best and are very expensive).

This gem has all your produce, eggs, and meat needs. Plus, specialty prepared food items. Lots of parking and good shade for those hot days.

Friendly atmosphere in a nice location. Ample parking on the street two blocks away. Food stamp friendly. Leave dogs at home. Open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday,?

This exact farmers market location is for white people. Most of all the vendors are white and pretty stuck up and rude! I only came across two black vendors out of the entire farmers market! I won’t be returning! Very disappointed I went from Oakland to whites only ville in a matter of minutes and it would be different if the whites were actually friendly and welcoming! But they weren’t the were unwelcoming and suspect! Sad at the racism that continues to persist in Oakland. I’ll try going downtown and see if that changes anything

I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't in a difficult place to get to via bike. Otherwise, pretty well stocked and large market, everyone was friendly.

Wonderful fine great food wonderful crowd So nice to see kids with their parents and great produce at amazing prices I love going to Farmers markets and on Sunday I take my mother to church so while she's at church I go there and hang out and purchase vegetable and other things at a beyond more than reasonable price

Things have changed or maybe they’ve always been tainted and nasty here. I always wait patiently with my baby to be helped at the information desk but this past Sunday an employee at the information desk let someone cut in front of me.

Great selection of produce both veggies and fruits, especially mulberries. Firs time trying this lovely fruit and so good! Get them before they sell out. A nice mid-size market that has coffee, starter bread, milk, cheese etc.
