I had a amended tax return from several years ago that was turning into a major headache. I was lost and getting nervous as the IRS was asking me questions I did not know the answer to. Lalane at Tax and Business Services of Oakland was incredibly calm and took my project on. She walked me through the steps of what I needed to do, reviewing my returns and even addressing the envelopes to the Franchise Tax Board and the IRS. She took away a headache I have been dealing with for two years and I am very thankful. I would recommend her to anyone looking for support on taxes, she was affordable and very responsive. -Wilson

LaLane made me feel better about the tax process. She's professional and very knowledgeable about everything in relation to business and accounting. Her office is very neat and organized. Everytime I meet with her, she is energetic and enthusiastic about her work which makes me feel comfortable. I truly trust her with my taxes and highly recommend LaLane.

I have always done my own taxes, using TurboTax but had a horrible experience last year. This year I made an appointment at H&R Block for 9AM today. However, when I got there, there was another person there who was booked for the same preparer at the same time, AND we were both told that the preparer only works virtually. They couldn’t book another appointment because their computer system had melted down. Well, that was the universe telling me to get out of there as fast as possible. As I was driving home I saw this little tax preparation office on 7th that had an OPEN sign so I decided to stop in. I was greeted with a smile by LaLane, my guardian angel of taxes. She asked questions and found deductions that I had no idea I could take. I had the best experience, and got a great refund that I wasn’t expecting. LaLane was friendly and clearly very smart, and she made me feel comfortable and confident that things were being done correctly. I’m never going to do my own taxes again, and I’ll never go anywhere else. Thank you LaLane!
