I love this car wash. One day I was in the “credit card only” stall and I had tokens and the guy with the dreadlocks turned on the machine for free for me. Will return soon.

I had some extra cash on hand so I decided to get tokens and pay for the car wash that way. Turns out that the bay I was in didn't take tokens. And, as it turns out, only one of the wash bays takes tokens. The others had their token slots taped over or didn't take tokens at all.
The Solar Car Wash should either maintain the token-taking equipment in the wash bays or only take credit cards.

Very nice cleans facilities to go and wash your car The Vacuum Center is kept very clean and nice the prices are great $12 bucks for most basic option and comparable to the surrounding shops. the guys are very quick at drying. definitely worth spending the money and not having to do it yourself. And the employee Casondra was super helpful in making sure I pulled into the right drive through off San Pablo!! ?Service: Clay bar treatment

This is a great little secret — right in the middle of the Oakland/Berkeley urban area is this compact, self-serve car wash. Usually I can get in without a wait. Wash equipment pricing starts at $5, and for my small Miata the bottom line comes to $7 or $8.Emerge from the washing bays to an area where you can park, wipe down your car, and pay $5 for a powerful vacuum to clean the interior. (If you don’t need to vacuum there are usually parking spaces on the street where you can dry your car.)The vibe is generally pleasant, and an attendant is always on hand. Highly recommended.

Easy to get in and out, easy to operate. Some may be quick enough to need only 5minutes, but like most folks I need a 2nd 5-minute installment to finish the job, which is fine.
