I like the idea of a comfort shoe store but the styles are not attractive at this store. I would spend money here if they tried to get things in that were stylish yet also comfortable. Things like that are hard to find but they do exist.

I had an issue with a shoe size I bought in store. This place isn't for low income shooters, it is was not expensive than I might normally go for but I wanted solid strong shoes. I was able to get them replaced after 2 days. I'm disappointed that they tried to unplug my feedback after only 2 days and a request for exchange one

GREAT experience. Found shoes to fit my skinny and narrow feet!!!!! Bought 2 pair of the Dansko "Henrietta" in black and blue. High quality stuff. Hope to see dressy FLATS come spring. Entertaining sock collection along with quality brand Smart Wool. Impressed that the staff actually use a real foot measuring device - have not seen this in years!!!! Got parking right in front of the store, twice - a small miracle in Berkeley. A small well planed shop for a wonderful shopping experience.

Always a look out for good quality shoes , I either love the design or I don't . I love shoes that are well made with style and comfort and I am always on flats and wanted something more dress up then my flats, walking shoes etc. I had walked past this store several times in the past and seen shoes that have caught my eyes and boy am I glad that I took the time and ventured in. I do have my favorites though ,like Ecco shoes , Cole Haan , Brooks, Sacony, shoes that don't break the bank and last for a while . Now I have found a store that sells shoes with great customer service and are run by Women . Styles that I can wear to work /office and leisure . I highly recommend this store and they do have another branch in Walnut Creek . I chose the brand Sole Terra from Spain for this time and looking forward to try more styles from this store .

I'm one of those people who orders a dozen shoes from Zappo's hoping to find a cute comfortable pair only to return all of them sometimes. I walked in to Shoes on Solano during a sale years ago, and found my go to shoe, the Sole Terra Camdyn Flat. I can walk miles in these shoes! They are cute with both pants and skirts. I'm on my 4th pair. They last a long time because they are so well made. Colors rotate - you can always get black - but I'm hoping they will make the red ones again. Sole Terra Camdyn Flat is designed and produced by Shoes on Solano. This is the only place you can purchase these awesome shoes.

I've always hated shoe shopping because of that great divide: comfortable or cute? It was always one or the other. But Shoes on Solano has changed all that for me. I bought shoes there last week and both pairs have turned out to be just as comfortable as they seemed to be when I tried them on. And I've gotten compliments on them. I tried on 5 pairs of boots, water proof and regular, and every pair was stylish and completely comfortable. The salesperson who helped me, Ronnie, was very friendly and helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the sizing and design of the different brands they carry. They don't carry any shoes that are cheap or cheaply made but they also don't seem to carry any shoes that aren't extremely comfortable and attractive. Unless I move from the area I'll probably never shop anywhere else for shoes -- except running type shoes, which they don't carry.

Today the customer service associate, Candy, was just so so nice! She brought out multiple sizes for me and was just overall so attentive and polite. The store had hand sanitizer and even free masks all around. I had never walked into this store before and I'm so glad I decided to walk in! Plus I got a cute pair of Danskos for a bargain!

Outstanding service and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of shoes. Great recommendations for shoes that match your arch and gate. I've been coming here for more than 10 years, ever since my doctor recommended I try out their arch supports. They make them in house, and while they are a fraction of the price for custom orthodox they've worked great for me.
