Shoe Spot is a great small local shop with a pleasant experience and great big value. It carries a wide selection of Birkenstock shoes and Redback boots, curating quality. The store is small but offers a good selection and competitive, sometimes better, prices. The service is wonderful with great customer service and an emphasis on help. Transactions are easy, with no hassle for exchanges. The proprietor provides personal, knowledgeable assistance for finding the best shoes for your feet, including for wide sizes. Overall, it is a great store with great value.
Had a wonderful experience getting my first pair of Birkenstocks with Gustavo. Ended up chatting about Oakland history for a solid 30 mins. This guy and his shop is great, and I got my sandals on sale too!

Went in for athletic shoes but left with a pair of Birkenstock slippers ($100+tax, inside is natural shearling and upper texture is 70% wool & 30% PES). Wide selection of Birkenstock shoes. Store is small. Overall pleasant experience. Shop local!
