I have rented cars from Todd and Rich for nearly 20 years. These guys are truly gems of the Bay Area. I will secure my car months in advance and they always accommodate me. I also had the sincere pleasure to now meet Todd’s son. Just like his dad. Warm. Friendly. Full of beautiful light.

I rented a car for college move-in day and a few days exploring outside the city. My enquiries were answered very quickly, and the booking process was easy and efficient (even when I wanted to extend the hire period) A second driver was included in the price. Pick up was easy - no queues, no trying to sell you stuff you don't need, no stress - just lovely guys and a lovely experience. The car was great; easy to drive (I'm from the UK so was a little nervous), and we got a ride back to the BART at the end of the booking. I would definitely book with them again; a fine example of how hiring a car should be!

Just before they close on last Saturday, I rented the car from them for a concert. Todd was very nice to gave me a good offer and the car was very nice to drive although I got a ride from a friend and did not use it. The overall experience was very good, and I will definitely recommend them to my fellas. Thanks!

This place is a true gem. Not only are their cars amazing at a great price, but the customer service is incredible. My personal car was totaled and I didn’t know how long I would need a rental. This was no issue, and I was able to extend my rental without hassle. I will absolutely be coming back next time I need to rent a car, or for their notary services. Thank you, Rich and Todd!!

My personal car died and I needed a long term rental for a month and they were able to accommodate me easily. I had to call to extend my rental and the staff made it easy and convenient for me to do so. The rates here are more than fair even more reasonable than using my membership at Costco which is my usual go to for rentals. I was pleased by the level of professional customer service and the friendly disposition of the staff. The location is very close to where I work so it was super convenient to walk over and pick up the car. I was given a newer Toyota Corolla, I think it's a 2023, which gets amazing gas mileage. It cost me less than $40.00 to fill the tank each week, that alone was thrilling! They even have the option of giving you a FastTrak if you don't have your own. This was the most efficient rental process I've ever had and I appreciate not having to go to an airport to pick up. Thanks so much!

Always a pleasure to rent from this company. Great customer service, very reliable and dependable. I've been renting from Todd and Rich, off and on for almost 20 years. Great rates, nice & clean vehicles. They even have minivans available! This is THE place for rental vehicles! I wouldn't give my business to anyone else for this specific service. No reason! ? Todd and Rich are Wonderful!

Support a local family-owned business - the best kind! - and rent a car here. I am so grateful to the friend who recommended Rent-a-Relic. It's a reliable service run by great people. Their location is right by two bus stops, across the street from a gas station, and once or twice a month I rent a car for a day to run errands. So much easier than all the hassle and expense of owning a car.

I'm so glad this place exists. Helpful staff, well-maintained cars, and good prices. Rich explained the rates by phone and then I called back a few days later to book. I had a Corolla for a week. It was clean and had no issues. The big rental corporations frequently assigned me cars that were dirty or overdue for maintenance, but Rent-a-Relic is small and locally-owned and they seem to take good care of their cars.
