I’ve been here a few times for various functions and am grateful for this venue in providing a gathering place to host events. Parking can be tricky. BART is a great option since it’s downtown stop is just steps away. It’s no fault to the building; downtown Oakland doesn’t allow for venues to keep doors open to the streets so it can get somewhat stifling without fresh air flow.

All the bathrooms were stopped up very nasty. There was no air very hot in this place and it is super small for an event. Elevators had issues.

Conveniently located near the train station in Oakland. Large rooms available for rental. Audio setup is provided. Not sure if they charge for that as well. Tables and chairs are available. Clean bathrooms elevator and stairs available. The staff were very friendly and accommodating they even let me store my insulin in their refrigerator.

Oakstop is a terrible UNETHICAL company run by a tyrant named Trevor Parham. He has ZERO WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP and mistreats his female employees. He does not allow women to do the job he hired them to do. If you have been affected FIND ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA SO WE CAN ALL FILE A LAWSUIT. Five other women have come out already. @iamsaraspeaks

Good co-working space and a small business. They also have event spaces and friendly staff.

A very bare bones co working space. Great location in DT Oakland, convenient to Bart. But the interior leaves a lot to be desired. It's a long linear space with private offices on the sides and some desks in the middle. I can say they have nice adjustable desks with nice chairs. But no kitchen on the main floor, no coffee and a minimal tea selection. No sound proofing. Weird vibes.
