I do not like leaving reviews but this experience was just horrible! Made an appointment for oil change (included in service agreement) get there at 1 p.m. " we cant do it today because we dont have technicians". NO prior calls to say pls do not come in today because of whatever the case. wasted entire day. Got an appointment for 7 days later. Reach there said we cant find your service contract for oil change. Reminded them i have done oil change here prior pls look vin number. FINALLY they found it tried up selling which i declined. They said it will be 3 to 4 HOURS!!!!! WOW. After an hour or so i get a call and the manager says the tech who was pulling the car to the "lift" got sensor wires caught in it and will need to order parts and replace it. By now i was beyond frustrated and reminded manager i had prior plans to be somewhere. He then says "do you want us to get a rental??". Then had to get a rental put down deposit and made it to the shop to check on the car, OMG the whole bumper was off and him showing me what the issues were and i see another piece broken and he says it was like that. ARE YOU F SERIOUS! told him no that was part of your PROFESSIONAL TECH who did that. Next day its almost 3 pm no updates called them and asked status needed. "Yea its ready ummm bring us copy of rental receipt. Got the car so far so good. Later that night put car in drive it reads a safety sensor warning ( cant detect right side collision sensor) take it back to kia service 8 A M next day. Sorry no technicians who knows about that, bring it on Monday. UNBELIEVABLE!!! WORST SERVICE CENTER

I brought our Soul in to get evaluated for transmission problems. Kia service kept it overnight to test in the morning, explained why there was no problem now, and gave it back to me without payment.

Very efficient service, didn’t try to upsell me on anything, went out of their way to explain my warranty when I asked (something Ive had questions about for awhile) and even printed me supplementary materials, cleaned my car for free (!!!), and was very patient when I was delayed picking up my car. I love Oakland Kia!

NOTE THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE OAKLAND, GRAND AVENUE FACILITY I had work done a while back and when the work was done, I called their customer service department to arrange a pick-up, and no one answered the phone (I left a message). I tried calling them repeatedly for over an hour without anyone answering. I even called the Sales office in hopes that they could help, but all they did was transfer me and I left one of ten-plus messages. I did finally get a call back after an hour and a half, by that time I had already made arrangements to come and pick up my car. Upon arrival, I demanded to speak to the manager, whom I was told had already left for the day, but they assured me that he would follow up with me (never did). I shared my frustrations with the customer service staff, whose only reply was to speak to the manager. A note on this ordeal - the customer service office was well-staffed and didn't appear very busy. I have since decided they will NEVER get my business, and am now using the Kia at Hilltop (day and night difference in the quality of service). Today, I had to contact them for repair information for my insurance company (took 6 times before someone answered the phone). When I requested a copy of the service order, I was told that they could not email/snail-mail it to me due to confidentiality (HUH?) and that I would have to go, in person, to pick it up. I had to take a day off work to their office, the customer service person told me that they COULD HAVE emailed it and didn't know why someone would have said otherwise. Update: Today I learned from the insurance company that they had been trying to reach Kia for several weeks without any luck. The insurance agent told me that they had assumed the phone number had been disconnected. I confirmed that they did indeed have the correct phone number, and call end them directly (took 4 tries) to request that they follow up with the insurance company. The person I spoke with, Patrick assured me that he would call them immediatley. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!! If you need assistance, contact Kia in Hillsdale - they have excellent service!!

Arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early. Checked in and told the repairs would be approx 2-3 hours. Repairs completed in 2 hours. Oil service 2 recalls and wiper replacement and cabin engine air filter replacement. Complete… Price was a shock 365 bucks… ouch.

Always made sure to keep me up to date on the status of my vehicle. They also made us aware of a maintenance issue on our Kia that could have been a long term problem. Great service advisor team as well.
