My coworker for lunch wanted to show me a spot not too far from the office, we whizzed down the lift and were at the 12 and Broadway Bart station plaza (a.k.a: city center plaza) and went over to this cute little deli. . It's in a prime location at a hub Bart station and downtown Oakland area. As you enter, you give your order to the cashier. The cashier was very friendly and quick to take our order. My coworker highly recommended the Turkey Pesto Melt for their sandwiches, so I figured I would give it a shot. The sandwich can come off as a bit sweet but also very savory. They also offer salads and wraps here as well if you're trying to stay away from breads. Overall; for the price, the service and food was good. I'll come back for another round!

This is my first time eating here so I decided to get a turkey pesto melt, but wanted it on a low carb wrap. Unfortunately, the cashier didn't understand me and continued to ask me what kind of bread I wanted; she named the different types so I settled for whole wheat. Overall, the sandwich was tasty, but on the sweeter side.. not particularly crazy about it being sweet. I may come back and try other sandwiches and try to get it on a low carb wrap.

Tiny overpriced sandwiches. Should have gone to the Subway a couple doors down. But all 3 bites were tasty. Plus side of it ?

Worked in North Beach for 15 years, there was no place that made these type of sandwiches.

It’s fine. Decent sandwich shop. My sandwich was mostly bread.

Hours says 2pm, but closed at 1:30pm. Guess you didn't want business.

Love working near city center with all these cafes and restaurants around. It makes it so convenient just to grab a sandwich or salad during work. I usually get the Turkey sandwich with the works and add jalapeños & provolone. They can toast it or make it cold style. Portion is good. It is filling and the light pesto mayo sauce makes it tasty. I've also tried their signature roast beef and pastrami. Those are good as well. Staff are friendly and nice. Always greeted when I walk through the door. Quality here is better than Subway. Although I've been to Subway but this place makes sandwiches taste better. I'll definitely come back again and support this deli.

We came here on a normal weekday during lunch and there were a few customers in the shop. We bought two different types of turkey sandwiches and they were just okay. The bread wasn't anything special while the turkey was a bit dry and didn't have much flavor to it. We had hoped that we would have liked these sandwiches more but there was just not much to them - it was all very plain and just okay. We might try them again but there's nothing in particular that would drive us back to this sandwich shop anytime soon.

Very delicious sandwhiches! I've been coming here a few times a week now and absolutley love their subs. My favorites are the buffalo sub or the holiday turkey. The servers are always nice and friendly which is rare for a sanwhich place. Their breads taste very fresh as do their veggies. 10/10 recommend.

Disappointed. I came here because I wanted a sandwich with a little more quality than Subway. My mistake. I ordered their $5 Tuna Piadinas, and it was mostly pita bread and lceberg lettuce. Almost zero tuna in it. Think peanut butter spread thin. I like iceberg lettuce. But I ordered a tuna sandwich, not an iceberg lettuce sandwich. Tuna is a low cost high margin item too. Not only are they making money on the high margin item, they don't give you much if it. It's like their penalizing their customers. I want my calories back. Not worth stopping here.

I got a Caprice salad with no tomatoes. It comes with avacados, greens, mozzarella cheese. The avacado is inedible. It's hard and there center is all black.
