This place should be called Moron Supply, because you'd have to be one to give this place your business and it's apparent the store is owned and run by one. Never in the history of shopping for anything have I encountered anyone as rude and unhelpful as the individual who works (and I assume owns) this place. Lacking knowledge and anything resembling expertise. Lazy and gave only one word "answers" to simple questions. Terrible customer service. Went to Home Depot where I found the same product for at least 25% less and with actual customer service. Definitely would not return and would not recommend this place to anyone.

After striking out 3 times looking for a bathtub spout I went to Moran and they found the EXACT part I needed. Super inexpensive as well. Definitely coming here again for all plumbing supplies. General hardware stores just don't have the same selection of parts.

Skip Home Depot and go to Moran. Local store and great customer service. We embarked on a bathroom renovation project for the first time not knowing anything, and our GC wasn't super helpful either. Matt Moran spec'd out all the bathroom fixtures for us and had some solid recommendations. We're definitely going back to Moran for our phase 2 project, that entails a new half bath.

Best customer service I have ever had at any business.Went in to get some replacement parts, but they didn't have any of them in stock. Nevertheless, they walked me through how to get the parts I was looking for.One was an obscure part I would have never found, but the guys there took the time out of their day to track down the part. Turns out the place that made it went out of business 15 years ago, so I would have spent hours searching and eventually would have been forced to replace my entire faucet. Instead, I was able to order a $50 replacement thanks to their expertise and willingness to help.Needless to say, I will only go one place for my plumbing needs from now on.

I was sent to Moran when my local Ace didn't have the right fitting for the non-standard plumbing under my sink (I was trying to hook up a new dishwasher). The person who helped me spent 20 minutes digging around in bins to help me find two pieces that could fit together and allow me to connect the water line. It cost me less than $15 in the end, I took it home, and everything fit and worked. Thank you! (My receipt says it was Chris who helped me--if it was, thanks, Chris!)

My toilet was running. And running. And running. As a bit of die-hard do it yourselfer, I decided to try and fix it myself. Finding parts turned out to be the challenge. I eventually accomplished this through a variety of vendors, but a local hardware store directed me to Moran for expertise in Kohler products like my toilet. One eight minute phone call to Matt was all it took. I described my situation, and he gave me a checklist of things to inspect and make sure were aligned, slack, and so on. Then he told me he had a customer waiting to talk to him in the store, so he had to go. Turns out Matt was exactly right in his diagnosis, and I was able to stop the slow leak that had been plaguing me for a week. The charge? Absolutely nothing! It was great to be able to speak to someone with expertise and encouraged me to make it work myself. Huzzah!

Super helpful, identified the part I had, and honestly told me to order it online. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great service, probably a touch pricey, but good quality.

Count me amongst that folks who have not had a great experience with Moran. I really wanted to like them since they are a local business, however, the person I worked with (think he is an owner or co-owner) seemed entitled and generally unhelpful to folks just trying to support small stores and shop in the neighborhood. Seems to me they cater more towards professional plumbers than DIYers who need additional knowledge and support. Ironically, I have found Rubenstein Supply (which is super contractor-oriented) to be infinitely more friendly and helpful to just a regular homeowner like me who comes in for very small (sometimes sub-$20 sales). It is a great feeling when a business sees your challenge as their challenge and takes pride in helping you towards the solution (Rubenstein), rather than a nuisance to be simply extinguished or brushed aside (Moran). Pick your supply house accordingly.

Even though they didn't have what I needed in stock, or should I say what I wanted....They are a wealth of information. Which you is priceless

You can't beat the combination of helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Matt was such a good listener, helped me figure out the parts I needed, referred me to other supply stores for the parts he didn't carry. I was always treated with respect and humor. Even though spending money on plumbing issues is never good, Moran Supply made it a great experience. So glad I went there vs. a Big Box store. Here they know what they're doing and they are there to help. Highly recommended.

Had purchased two Moen kitchen faucets from Moran some time ago (2003). One of the faucets is still working and the other is stiff and will not rotate - usable but a nuisance. Our plumber said just replace the two O-rings which look like they are disintegrating. Went into Moran for the O-rings and was surprised at the lack of customer service. Not interested in helping - "well it is 17 years old, what do you expect? Buy a new faucet". They did not try to find any suitable O-rings. Complete lack of service. Very disappointing from a local family-owned business. Back to Home Depot and Amazon.

Great local store where the staff and owner really care about the customers and know the products. I've been a customer there twice (once for a new kitchen faucet, and again for a new toilet) and both times Rich took as much time as I needed to explain why the products I had weren't working, which functionalities would suit our situation, and finally arrive at a great purchase. In both cases, what we arrived at was nowhere near the most expensive items he had: his interest is truly in making his customers happy, not in up-selling. It's great to be able to support a local spot and not have to go to the big-box stores, to get that personalized attention, and to know that I'm walking out with a product that's exactly right for my family.
