Asian run establishment in Oakland that doesn't accept cash... with vending machines that only take coins.A robot delivered my water while six employees watched me.The robot played "I Got Five On It" while it spun around during its water deliveries. It played "I Got Five On It" every. Single. Time. Ba dum bum... Ba dum bum.Every other dish was delivered by humans.Four stars.Several R&B songs played. Then they played Nickelback. Then resumed R&B for the durationDon't play Nickelback.Three stars.

My last visit was like few years ago, decided to give it a try after seeing it on social media. Now i know why i didnt come back. The beef in the pho is pretty fresh but the broth is very average. We got spring rolls and they stuffed it with 80% lettuce bean sprout and pickled radish and shrimp.I think they are selling decor and theming with robots serving you because without the ambience there would be no businessGo to pho ao sen if you are already in oakland, le pho if you are in berk areaHard pass on this restaurant

For the regular person, any pho might but do, but for the connoisseur this place is for you.What you will find here:Bone broth made from scratch, meticulous attention to detail and high quality ingredients.What you find at other people's spot: too much MSG which let you know that they rushed on their broth and did not take time to do it right.

Not only is this place super hip, but the food is REALLY good! Never have I ever tasted such fresh, quality meats in my pho! The entire team here really makes you feel at home and the place is decorated with SO much detail. My friend and I went to this place due to the high reviews; unfortunately, we were disappointed.We do not recommend eating here.The two special bowls of pho we had were both lukewarm and then quickly cold. The broth flavor was fine; and with the meats and veggies, it was a bit pricey. But the cold soup made it difficult to finish.The service is also akin to that of a cafeteria given that there are robot servers and minimal supervision.

The business expanded into a new location, changed their recipes a bit, and went all in on the type of decor I'm not quite able to describe. ...and robot servers. The food still tastes good. Tho not as crisp and refreshing as it used to be. What really lead me to go from 5 stars to just 3 is the massive increase in pricing. Back when I used to go here often it was 11.50 for a regular pho. It's now over $17. Taking into account inflation and the pandemic, that's an insane markup. I'll likely continue coming here for special occasions but not likely for casual munchies. ... $17!!!

We consistently order Banh Mi, tofu rice plate, veggie & chicken Pho from here. We have dined in several times as well - service is always swift, quite fun to see the robots serving the food. The place easily seats group of four and two inside. They have outdoor seating as well. Street parking is available around the block if not right around the corner. We find the food consistently tasty, and can never really finish the whole serving in one sitting, so generous portions, indeed. Hope you all enjoy the place as much as we do. Incredible. It's so refreshing to go to a restaurant wherein you get value in every aspect. Service was family-like, just outrageously sweet and anticipating every need. The food was delicious and my husband is picky to the point of limiting our food experience. The place is so clean and thoughtful. The options are great. Go here with your young family, casual date, friend catchup, or door dash it!My only recommendation: add a seafood Pho!! I love squid and fish balls. Thank you for providing such valuable and tasty pho!
