This company in San Francisco wants you to purchase 6 month insurance policy to hire their car for a few days. They want an insurance policy that covers their vehicles for $75000 USD
Couldn't tell me what insurance to use they could only tell me the least amount of insurance I could get was for 6 months when I only needed an accessible vehicle for 3 days
Manager's were very unhelpful

This is the BEST mobility dealer EVER! I highly recommend this particular location. If you need a wheelchair vehicle or a modification done on your present vehicle, this is the place to go. Do call for an appointment for the most prompt service. You will be treated with respect, kindness, and receive excellent advice for your individual situation. They have extremely skilled technicians...I don't know if they are still able to do this - but pre-pandemic for major work I would send my vehicle to them via AAA and they would personally drive it back to me and I live in a different county! WOW!!! I don't doubt that you will be in very good hands, should you need their services...

I want to take this time to acknowledge the commendable customer service I received from Mark, Steve, and their team at Mobility Works Oakland. We had taken our van in because of a faulty door, that would not consistently open or close. Mobility Works did not fix the issue initially as expected. The door failed to work two days after we brought the van in. After calling Steve first thing Monday morning, he generously offered to have us bring the car in, on short notice, despite having a busy schedule that day. He knew we had a trip to go to and did his best to fix our issue in time for this travel. Despite some miscommunication about the work that needed to be done, Mark, Steve, and their team eventually rectified the situation, and fixed our issue in time for our trip.Cars are complicated, and the issue at hand may not always be fixed on first attempt. I genuinely and greatly appreciate Mark and Steve's desire to "make things right" and to have the customer's best interest at heart. Instead of doubling down, and shifting the blame on the customer, they did what was necessary to fix the issue, and were very friendly and gracious about it. We are very pleased with this part of the customer service, and would gladly recommend them to other consumers.

This place is great when you’re buying your vehicle, but once you have it, good luck with getting any kind of service.We’ve had recall issues on our brand new 2022 van that Mobility Works has refused to deal with. We have been in multiple times, made countless phone calls, and still haven’t heard back on when these issues will be fixed. After spending $100k on an accessible vehicle, we assumed we would have had better service. If you can, contact any other company that provides accessible vehicles.

We had a bad experience with their customer service. Our used wheelchair van was bought last week of December 2022, battery already failed in April 2023. Representatives won’t do anything to help, and were not friendly nor amicable. We are a start-up transport business serving the elderly, and we feel very cheated by this company. I am going to write a longer review on yelp, about our experience with this company.

I bought Toyota Sienna 2022 back in May 2022. After using this van for about 10k Millage it showed “Maintenance Required for battery cooling parts” till now this problem could not be fixed with vague reason till the present day. The dealer Mobility Works in Oakland where I bought this Van is giving me evasive answer and very unprofessional customer service. Be careful and I am not recommending this dealer for any mobility works related service at all.

I'm not sure where to start, but honestly working with Lillie at MobilityWorks has been a very pleasurable experience. She helped me find a minivan within my budget, had the car shipped from TX to CA, drove the car to the inspection garage (since I was outside the country), and helped me get all issues with the car resolved, and was very patient with my numerous calls to her haha! I highly recommend Lillie and MobilityWorks if you're looking to buy a WAV.

We have moved recently to the area and had our van serviced twice over the past year by Mobility Works in Oakland. Both times the technicians were very competent and the staff extremely courteous. In addition, I have also called the Oakland site 3 times with questions unrelated to the servicing, to get additional information about caring for our van and how to do a minor repair. Here too the staff were cordial, informative, and genuinely helpful, addressing my concerns very promptly.

Our experience with MobilityWorks in Oakland has been wonderful - we would give them 10 stars, if we could! We recently moved to this area and our wheelchair accessible van needed servicing twice over the past year. Both times it was easy and efficient to schedule an appointment, and we were given both excellent service and a very cordial welcome. I emphasize this because my disabled husband asked if he could closely observe the mechanics and technicians at work during the servicing, rather sitting in a waiting room. He was an engineer before his injuries and wanted to be able to ask questions and participate in the process as much as possible. Mark Santos and Val completely understood how important this was to us, and on both visits they made a special effort to welcome us. They introduced my husband to the service team, who took him behind-the-scenes so he could watch, and then communicated with him throughout the servicing. At every level, the MobilityWorks team members were not only highly competent, but also accommodating and compassionate, turning a routine procedure into a memorable experience!
