I went in and was charged 700 for two ppl body sculpture for one and facials i got the products for my face they were 150.Didn't get our neck or feet massaged than was forced to tip ??♀️??♀️

Michelle is no longer working here and has opened her own salon called Glowli Health & Beauty on Piedmont Ave in Oakland. I am so glad I was able to find her because she has been my waxer for years.

I love May but this time doing my lashes so many of my lashes were glued together resulting in then being pulled out !! The rest of them are hanging on strong though !!! May did my 1st set 9 years ago too btw !!! We miss you Lucia

Very odd experience. I booked in at this salon, but they moved my appointment to Beauty Island Spa - not super convenient but, I could cycle and they very kindly let me store my bike. The person who met me and did my waxing was very sweet but I don't think she'd done waxing before. I was supposed to have a full leg and Brazilian but when it took 30 mins to just do a very basic bikini line, I opted to give the Brazilian a miss and thought she might be more comfortable with an easier area. We struggled through for over another hour - the room was very dark so she couldn't see, she found another light which she wheeled in after knocking the previous one over onto me and I think maybe she was using hard wax with strips - it went on incredibly thickly and then she would take 10-20 tries to get it off - most uncomfortable. At 1 hour 40 mins I gave up. Backs of my legs were still not done, and I have patches all over and I'll have to visit another salon to get my Brazilian done. And she still charged me the full price for a full leg and bikini. I feel terrible leaving this review - I know she was just doing her best. I would have written this in a private email, but there's no email listed here, and their website is down. I just want to make sure that the practitioners get the equipment they need and decent work environment and the training on the materials provided to be able to provide an adequate service. (a partial refund would be good too). Thanks.

I got a full leg, bikini, and armpit wax from May and she was super sweet. She did a great job, and I'll definitely go back to her.

I've been going to Lucia HB for over 20 years. While Lucia may be gone her technicians remain as skilled as ever. I've seen Michelle multiple times over the years and she's cut from the same cloth as Lucia. Michelle is fast and efficient. There's no one else I would go to willingly to do my waxing. Michelle was able to do my Brazilian in less than 30 minutes. Lucia trained all her technicians in speed and efficiency. I'm happy that Lucia has found a new path but I'm even happier her former employees are still doing great work!

I came to get a facial from Michelle who gave me a very experienced facial. She first provided a consult, we agreed on a treatment and then she talked me through the process as she went. She was gentle, and provided very helpful recommendations for my skin. I will be coming back. I also came to get my first ever set of lashes from May. May took her time, and did exactly what I requested. She was thorough and I love the result. It's been one week and they look and feel great still. I'll be coming back for a fill.

I enjoyed my facial from (to a certain extent) Lucia but probably will not return for a few reasons.This place is not following Covid protocol and the place is kind of a mess though I do think hand washing & cleanliness are good here.That being said I was made to sign a paper saying that once a Groupon is used one is prohibited from ever using another here. After signing she shoved a petition in front of me that I found personally offensive. When I refused to sign I was questioned why.I left feeling quite uncomfortable.

I love the new nails that the beautician did for me. It was a stylish, very good design, and captivating. She was very talented, professional, and accurate in working, and I loved her way of working. Also, their shop was a nice place needs to visit. For me, it was stylish, modern, cold air conditioning, and clean. I'll be back, I promise!

First of all you can't get customer service everything is done online or by phone and they would not except my gift card so me and my friend could not get service after booking an appointment and traveling wasting gas and tow money
