Jordon and his team are terrific. I interviewed a few teams and I can't recommend this company enough. It's hard to find folks you can trust in construction in the Bay Area with all sorts of price gouging going on, and this firm stands out as one that conducts itself with old school business practice integrity that would make its founders proud. Thank you Jordon!

Let me preface this review by saying I am a protective brother when it comes to home repairs. My sister needed a new roof on her older home and she did a ton of research before selecting Lovett & Lovett Roofing. They came and rebuilt her roof in no time at all. They were patient and transparent throughout the whole process! Provided my sis with multiple different options given her unique situation which definitely brings me great peace of mind. Called her from the lumber yard to go over different options that fit her specific needs. The whole crew worked cleanly and very efficiently. Showed up cleanly attired in branded gear which goes to show thier level of proffesionalism. The foreman was quick to call out any additional work required to make sure the job got done right the first time. I would give 10 stars if I could. I can't tell you how tickled I am that my sister was in such good hands with this amazing crew. Hats off to the guys at Lovett & Lovett. Don't bother calling around, do yourself a favor and book with Lovett & Lovett and trust me, you will not regret it!

Stellar roofing company recommended to me by a neighbor. Did a whole roof replacement prior to a solar install and made some recommendations about how the solar should be installed as well. Highly professional and organized and at a reasonable price. You get what you pay for and these guys are worth every penny

In 2020, we had a tree fall into our roof. This was fixed by a company (who will remain nameless), but the roof leaked. We had this nameless company come back out multiple times to try to fix the problem. Yet, the roof continued to leak every time. Such a mess, and this continued probably over a year (as it is 2023). I was desperate and so, so frustrated. Cue Lovett & Lovett Roofing. I contacted them for help. I connected with Roxana first, who was responsive and thoughtful and basically helped me keep my sanity. She asked for photos (i had plenty), texted me, and quickly set up an appointment. The gentleman, Jordan, that came out was just as great. He was able to quickly identify the problem and offer recommendations for a solution. My entire experience with Lovett & Lovett was excellent, from first contact to solution. Lovett & Lovett Roofing is extremely knowledge, reliable and professional. We will absolutely call them again if a tree ever decides to land on our roof again (fingers crossed no more trees, but we live by several). I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Lovett and Lovett just completed our complete re-roof for my house in Alameda. Overall, a very positive experience.I got 5 bids from various roofing contractors, and Lovett's were, by far, the most complete and detailed. While they were not the cheapest, they were very competitive and within 5-10% of the lowest bid. It took about 8 weeks after getting on their schedule after accepting the contract. Once they started, however, they showed up with a crew of about 5-6 guys and completed the complete re-roof in about 6 days, including an old layer of tear-off, the removal of a decorative dormer, new shingles, stucco tear-out and repair, and the installation of gutter guards all around. They arrived every day on time, a little before 8am, and generally stopped work work around 4. Roof project are a very messy business but they even did a pretty good job of cleaning up every day.Would highly recommend.

When the "bomb cyclone" hit the bay area 3-21-23, the extremely high winds and saturated soils caused a very large Monterey Pine tree in my front yard to fall and land on the roof of my home in Martinez. The branches broke holes in the roof over my living room and garage. The insurance aduster said that repairs were not going to be adequate, a complete re-roof would be required. My insurance company agreed. I looked online and found that Lovett & Lovett had the highest BBB rating, and that they have been in business since 1885! I looked no further. I contacted them, and Jordon Lovett came out immediately and gave me an estimate. It was in line with what my insurance company agreed to. While extremely busy, he was able to schedule my job before our upcoming vacation. The crew did an exceptional job on the re-roof and clean up. I couldn't be happier with the total experience of dealing with this company. I strongly recommend Lovett & Lovett for any roofing needs.

Lovett & Lovett completely exceeded our expectations and we are thoroughly satisfied with our new roof. Having had this project completed prior to this record setting winter rainy season has been a huge relief.Jordan was efficient at reviewing our needs, provided a comprehensive plan and a very reasonable estimate. The crew was very professional and competent plus extremely tidy (cleaning up each day) - even our hound loved em'. The entire project was managed - start to finish - with professionalism and pride in workmanship.We would absolutely recommend Lovette & Lovett and already have another project we want to get on the calendar.

I have used Lovett and Lovett for work on two different roofs and I am surprised that anyone would give this company anything less than a stellar, perfect review. When a company provides excellence, I want to let others know.I had invited four other roofing companies to help me diagnose a problem leak before finding Jordon Lovett - from the internet, by fluke/out of desperation. I called on a Sunday and unexpectedly got hold of his wife who listened to my worried story and told me she thought Jordon might be able to help because roofing is his thing - he seems to have spent his whole life working in and around roofing.Long story short, we waited a week or two for him to come out (he is a busy, professional person). He took a look at the problem area, immediately diagnosed it and later did a flawless restoration on the part of the roof that was damaged. Recently I had another roof that needed work done (water was coming in through the fireplace) and I did not consider calling anyone else. Again he took a thorough look. For each job he makes a comprehensive write up of the work that needs to be done, with photos of the property and supplies expenditure projected etc. - a thorough and very detailed estimate (and reasonably priced by my calculation).It may take him a few weeks to get to a particular job -possibly because Lovett and Lovett are real professionals. If you want the best, it stands to reason that they will be in demand.I am very impressed - both with the work done and the extreme professionalism of the company. There was no waiting around for people who did not show up and no weird, hazy bids. When we need a new roof we will go to Lovett and Lovett.Service: Roof repair

Stay away from this company. Jordon (the owner) seemed to be a great person when he stopped by for an estimate. Same thing for receiving a quote, very responsive and to the point. After signing the contract though Jordon shows his real personality. Disrespectful, dismissive and unresponsive. Expect any agreements in the contract to be broken. Expect additional charges for unused material. Expect delays in the start of the job beyond what agreed by contract. The job and the material used by this company is low quality. The material cracked at approximately 1 month from installation. The rushed, careless and poor installation caused the material to separate from the eaves creating space for water leaks. Stay away from this poor managed business. Save your money and your energy.

Fantastic company! The quality of the work was exceptional. I've never known a roofing company to have such skilled carpenters. My roof has tall, steep pitches that got decorative trim installed on the faces of the peaks at the roof line. This was a challenge to install and they did a fantastic job while working safely. The crew was courteous and professional. Throughout the days they made sure the gate was kept closed so that my dogs were always safe in the yard. They cleaned up at the end of each day making sure no trash was left in the yard.I don't often give 5 stars, if 6 was an option I would give them.Services: Attic venting installation

I strongly recommend this company. They are responsive to email. The crew worked hard. They cleaned up. We had a small leak during sideways rain souring the bomb cyclone. The next day their crew came out found the leak and fixed it. The leak was not from their roof work, was a window. The Foreman gave me his number in case the leak returned. Five of five stars!!

I am 100% pleased with the job Lovett & Lovett did. Jordon inspected the roof and provided a clear estimate with all of the options. He was available by phone and text to answer questions, and he always replied in a timely manner. Once I approved the estimate, Jordon got us onto his schedule very quickly.Part of our roof is flat and part is pitched. The flat part is what needed attention. Jordon gave me the option of a full teardown and replacement or coating the existing roof with a heavy-duty acrylic coating. We opted for the acrylic coating. I am confident it will hold up well over time. In addition, we replaced 13 skylights that were cracked and leaking. I'll be honest.... it's hard to get really excited about a roof, but this whole experience was painless and as exciting as roofs get. Jordon's crew that did the work was friendly, professional, considerate and easy to work with. As luck would have it, a few days after the work was completed, we had the first heavy rainfall of the season, and as expected there wasn't a single leak. Prior to the new roof, we had regular leaks, so now we'll sleep better.I highly recommend Lovett & Lovett and will use them again when needed (even though I hope that's not for quite a while).
