I saw the reviews and came anyway so I have no one but myself to blame. I made an appointment for this weekend, walked in and they had to dig through their phone to find my appointment but because they had clearly not checked their calendar or bookings, most of the pedicure chairs were filled (also fine). I found out later that the two open chairs (one of which I was sat in) were open because the massage chairs were broken. I was dismissively told to sit in the chair and did so but wasn't confident the water in the foot well had been changed or even was for me. I was assured it was and when I put my feet in and the water was barely lukewarm. The ladies were helping other clients and I sat there, upright and uncomfortable for about 10 minutes until the water felt room temp. Eventually, I had someone work on my pedicure and then my manicure. The pedicure was nice (if we disregard the cold water temperature) and the tech spent a lot of time on the massage and scrub which I appreciated. The manicure was fine but felt quite rushed and both polish and top coat were unevenly applied. I won't be coming back.

Lavender Nails Spa does the best job on nails in the Bay Area. Their work lasts longer than other nail spas I've been to, and they pay careful attention. There's also an air of friendliness that you don't find at other places. I can't recommend this place enough!

This was the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever received. Crappy work. But most importantly, if you're used to nail spas or nail salons being a peaceful, calm and relaxing experience then do NOT come here. It is not advertised that customers are allowed to blast obnoxiously loud karaoke to the point of giving me a headache. I had the best noise cancelling headphones on the market with me and I could still hear everything. Service was slow, inattentive, and when I expressed that I was having a headache and the music was disturbing me she refused to even turn it down a little bit and proceeded to stop working on my nails and serve everyone who was participating in the karaoke with wine and water bottles - conveniently skipping me. I asked if this was a private event or something and she said no. Many customers came and went during my time there. Then she was surprised that I didn't want to leave a tip. Don't get me wrong - this seems like it would be incredibly fun if 1) it is what you're expecting 2) you go with a group of friends 3) you love karaoke and 4) this component of the business was advertised accurately but if that isn't the experience you're looking for, skip it.

I've been a regular customer at Lavender Nails for over 8 years. Dina the owner and all the nail techs are very professional, competent and friendly. It is a neighborhood favorite and all my friends go there. I witnessed the exchange with the poor customer review below by Jane M. and the owner. I was appalled how rude the customer was towards the owner, the other techs and other customers in the shop. Jane M. started yelling at everyone and was rightly denied service. This is a minority women's owned business and I've been happy to support it for years.

Went in for a mani pedi. Dirty tools, lazy attitude. When I asked her to trim my cuticles and clean up the rough edges she created from a lazy filing job before applying polish for my "deluxe gel mani pedi" she handed me the nail file and went to the back. When she came back, the cuticle trimmer she started to use was visibly dirty so I asked her to get a fresh one she started yelling at me. Needless to say we didn't finish the service. I would never come back here. Terrible experience.

$45 for regular mani pedi. The mani was just okay but Angela who did my pedi did a great job (thank you!). They accept Zelle if you don’t have cash. They have a few free parking spots in the back. They seem to be pet friendly. Hygiene wise it could be better.
