This local bike shop looks like a biker’s bike shop (because it is) and yet it is so clearly a bike shop for the people - anyone, no matter your biking expertise. They are helpful, accommodating and also care about and give back to community. great stock of bikes, solid repairs and always willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommend.

I am not a bike rider, but I needed to get a bike tuned up for my son as he was needing one for University. I live in the neighborhood, and used this bike shop in the past to help fix my son‘s bike when he was little. Not only did the owner remember me, but offered me a discount and made sure that the bike that I brought in to repair was done in time for my son‘s first day of college. They put in the extra effort and I really appreciate it.

It’s like getting that new bike feeling! That’s how I felt after Jason and team did a thorough going over my bike and replaced and upgraded key parts of my drive train. This bike has been through two death rides and several centuries with all the training over the past four years with only minimal maintenance and definitely in need. I’m very happy to have this local shop and team to help me out.

Jason and his crew are bike expert bike mechanics. You can come here fully trusting you’ll get a honest evaluation, reasonable quote and efficient fix for both safety and performance. Jason generously counsels and serves the Oakland cycling community in his tightly-packed shop in the Laurel/Fruitvale District. Open Sundays too! My husband and I hv had our bikes tuned-up, tires replaced, and most recently a new drive train spec’d and installed. Can’t say enough how much we trust and appreciate these folks.

I was a few years overdue for a tune-up, but Jason and his team walked me through what I needed done (including what could be skipped), and got my bike back into tip-top shape in no time! They also let me bring it back in for some gearing tweaks well after their 60-day warranty period. Bring your bike here, you won't regret it!

Great bike shop, bought a Marin Fairfax 2 yesterday and rode from Adam's Point to Berkeley down Telegraph this morning. Perfect bike for the 30 minute commute and owner and bike tech were great to work with. Highly recommended.
