I purchased $20k of office furniture 5 yrs ago and just paid them $5k to move that furniture to a new office. The moving team they hired was horrible, unprofessional, marked and damaged many walls without concern despite my request in advance for them to take care. Damaged two pieces beyond repair which I had them take back to the warehouse. The company is offering to replace one of the two damaged pieces, but I should pay them to install them and no reparations for the damages they caused. They completely recognize the damages that won't make an offer to do anything to make it right. Not even an offer. I guess there are plenty of other customers to burn. I would not recommend them to do any installation in a professional environment.

Debbie Chang and team at Kantors are lovely to work with. We have yet to visit the store/warehouse but have been clients for years (furnished multiple offices). They have access to great vendors. They take the time to listen to our needs, provide suggestions, and can work with various budgets. If you're furnishing an office, we recommend Kantors!

I had been looking for a desk chair for my college age son but had no luck. I then remember seeing Kantors from the freeway so decided to go there. Walked in and the person sitting at the front desk greeted me asked if he could help us. Told us where chairs were at if we needed help to let him know. The inventory was extensive from new chairs to used chairs. While looking two more employees asked if we needed assistance. After my son tried out every chair in the store he finally picked one and they cleaned it up and loaded for us. This store has great inventory but there customer service was the best. I did not expect to have a great customer service experience but they were great. Very friendly staff.

We recently opened an office in the city of Oakland and had been looking for office furniture to outfit the place. After doing some research I found Kantors. I was very excited to go to the showroom and purchase furniture after reviewing the website. They had EXACTLY what we wanted and to our surprise all prices were BEYOND reasonable! Well. . .unfortunately. . .no matter how great products and prices are, I'm a firm believer that if the customer service is HORRIBLE, so it the place and will never get a dime more of my money or funds I'm in management of. Upon entering the store, I was glared at by a short male who sits at the front desk and rudely asked is there something he could help me with. I stated not at this time, just looking. He asked again, if I knew what I was looking for. I stated again, just looking. At this point he said nothing else to me and proceeded to watch me walk through the store. I saw the desk from the website that I was interested in purchasing. I asked him if the desk I had seen on the website was the one in front of me. He walked over to me, looked at the desk and stated no it the smaller one behind you then proceeded to trot back to his desk. Now, I can TOTALLY read and knew that the dimensions NOR the pricing was adding up to what he was saying and he wasn't interested to explain anything to me. So I took my phone out and asked him to come back over so I can show him what I'm looking at. He walked back over and decided to tell me instead of looking at the product code or anything that the price on each desk is what the price is and for the size. We went back and forth until I had him ACTUALLY LOOK at the dimensions, the price and the website. At which time, he states, "oh well I guess the website is right. I'm not in charge of pricing I go by what it tells me." So, after his horrible dismissive attitude, I told him I wanted to purchase the one listed on the website and was the size I was asking. He just turns around and and huffs off back to his desk again. At this point, although our office needed 9 desks for our new office, I decided I'd purchase elsewhere. During the time of him writing up the sales ticket, I noticed a warehouse area. Not sure if it was open to the public I asked 2 of the very pleasant women talking at their desks if I was allowed and they said sure and to let them know if I needed assistance. Great! At least someone has good customer service in here. While back there, here comes Mr. Huff and Puff pushing the sales ticket in front of me telling me to complete it with my info. I politely tell him, no problem but now that I'm back here I'd like to look around back here as well. Who knows there may have been something I wanted to add on to the order. He snatches the ticket and walks back to the front I assume without saying anything. Ultimately, there was a glass desk back there I told him I wanted instead for my satellite office. Guess that was a major inconvenience for him to have to rewrite a sales ticket. Ok whatever. I'm thinking maybe he was already having a bad day but NOPE. When I arrived the next day to pick it up, he rudely stated the warehouse guys would load it for me. Great! Then thought to myself, I see we're still having a horrible day again. Ok whatever. I went outside to wait and noticed the big box truck that says KANTORS OFFICE FURNITURE. . .AND. . .the VERY nice warehouse guys had blue jackets on that ALSO stated KANTORS. However, when I asked Mr. Huff and Puff how much delivery was at time of payment, he asked for location and I told him Oakland, he stated $120 because they use a 3rd party company for deliveries they don't have their own delivery guys. But I still decided to just let it go. I noticed there wasn't a paper, box, envelope, folder or anything containing the instructions to put the desk together. I walked in to inquire about this, but he was dealing with another customer but I couldn't help he tone he had with this customer and how friendly, welcoming and helping he wa

Johnny assisted me and wow, his customer service goes above and beyond. He showed me a ton of office chairs, adjusted them for me, educated me on what I need ergonomically, was understanding and patient and just truly wonderful given I was really not sure what I needed. This is my new favorite store!!! They have a huge selection of new and used office supplies. All the major brands and for very reasonable prices. The used items are in excellent condition as well.

I spoke to someone on the phone about a coffee table I was on my way to come get, I live 45 mins away. I asked them if they could set it aside and they said yes. Once I finally arrived they said they just sold it 30 mins before I got there.... WHAT THE SHITTY SERVICE IS THIS. Don't waste your time and come here.
