This place is totally rip off and do lousy job. My son took my 3 years Honda Civic with only 17,000 mileage to oil change. They told him it needs change the filter. But I just changed the filter three months ago by myself. I don’t know what other service they did that end up with $1000 cost…??
Does it needs that much service? How dare you take advantage of peoples trust? shame on you cheat on customer. This is rip off
A few months ago, my son took the car to change a tire. They didn’t even reset the tire pressure sensor. Also, the tire pressure was not correct. So I had to take to Marin Honda fix it.
This time, The filter cover fails down on the way back. This was a lousy job
It was a nightmare. we will never go back ever again. I am so pissed ! !

treats customers poorly and fishy labor prices. always price check this service dept or save yourself the time and poor customer service and just don’t go here if you want to work with honest people.

After having my car inspected here, I realized they had made the windshield dirty. I called to state my complaint and request a cleaning, but the employee I talked to sounded annoyed, suggested I call back on Monday to speak with a manager, and said "I'm gonna get back to work" before hanging up the phone.

Zero stars if I could.. Do not go to Honda of Oakland unless you want to be upsold without your knowledge and gaslit later on. I went in asking for two things, and reiterated that I was there for those two things alone: a battery and oil change. Out-loud, we discussed how I didn’t need to do a 35K mile maintenance package because I did the 30K one the year prior and my car is only at 28K miles. This is what the person who helped me said out-loud to me, he told me I could wait on the 35K maintenance. He then went and added the 35K mile package anyways without verbally telling me and I didn’t catch it in the final printout. Then, when I complained that this isn’t what we discussed, he went on to gaslight me about our conversation saying that the system prompted him to provide this service because it had been 3 years, which is a lie as my history shows the 30K service performed last year. Then he says it prompts him when a car is at 30K miles, another lie because I’m only at 28K. Why would he even suggest a 35K mile package at that point, it just doesn’t make sense and he can’t justify why. He also didn’t even suggest it to me, he just added it to the paperwork without confirming! If it had been made clear to me that that was being added absolutely I would have not gotten that service because it truly just didn’t make sense to even do it for my car at this time.
I’m absolutely disgusted by the way they took advantage of me, and my service ended up being about $600 more than it should have been. That isn’t a small lump of change, that’s an amount that really affects someone’s life. Honda is a huge company, absolute shame on them and this center for the way they are preying on individuals.

Jeffries in Services Department was highly professional and kept me posted on the progress of my Honda Odyssey. Overall super smooth transition. I really appreciate the shuttle service as well. Honda of Oakland has the best customer service. Love them! Thank you.

It was my first time into Honda of Oakland and Chris Abernathy was my advisor. He kept me informed and updated on my vehicle. Chris was very professional and helpful. He was helpful in breaking down and going into detail about my vehicles repair costs and parts cost. Would recommend others to check in with Chris for a streamlined and convenient process .

The sales person I worked with left me feeling sleazy. We went over all of the options and what would be included in the contract and agreed verbally and through our emails on a price. The car was on the lot at the dealership and I went with a check to pick up the vehicle. When I got there the deal had changed and he expected me to accept it because the inventory was limited and he knew I didn't have any viable alternative. I refused to do business with him because of the bait and switch tactics he used on me. Management did nothing to honor the deal I made in good faith..Honda of Oakland did not treat me well and I chose to take my business to another dealership in San Francisco where everything went smoothly and the car I wanted was delivered exactly as promised.

Had a really great experience. I showed up with a nail in my tire and a 2-hour wait time. They were able to get it done in less time, and everyone I talked with was friendly and helpful, especially my service advisor Carlos Molina. Thank you all so much!!!

They replaced my thermostat but forgot to take out the old gasket. 600 miles later it started leaking and overheating. Had to get it fixed in the middle of nowhere.
