I will be reporting you all to the FDA since you don't seem to take food allergies seriously.
The worst hotel stay EVER! Please do not stay here. I was followed back to the hotel after grabbing dinner. Felt unsafe the rest of the night.
Also apparently the maid service here is not guaranteed, so if something is wrong with your room or you need an extra towel like I asked for you won't get it.
But they will offer you 80% to come back and have your time and money wasted again.

I initially was underwhelmed with this property. I have to bw honest and say the staff came through for me. I learned of the death of a cousin, Tania consoled me with so much compassion. I am beyond grateful. The lady at check in was pleasant. I would stay here again.
Rooms: Rooms are so clean and spacious.

There's only valet here but there is a parking garage near by. Plan ahead
Food and drinks: Breakfast that was included was great. There is a small little food shop behind the receptionist desk that you can grab a little snack also

Had the best experience interacting with Perla at the front reception. She was super helpful and accommodating and I had such a positive experience! She went out of her way to help and I cannot say enough good things about her!
Walkability: Super close to the bart.

Bed seemed broken or something. Quite uncomfortable and odd as I choose Hamptons for their comfy beds ?♀️

I have had a roller coaster of a time with Booking . com for figuring out my reservation. Perla at the front desk went literally above and beyond to help me. She was so polite and helpful, she was even willing to hop on a 3-way call with them to help me figure out my reservation. I am so impressed. I haven't had service like that in a long time.

Stayed here for two nights and loved the room! Service was excellent as well, and the proximity to a Bart station was great.

Well located by BART 12th Street Station. Rooms are little smallish, but clean. Infrequent maid service. My old serious complaint is breakfast: we stayed four nights and not a breakfast without scrambled eggs. Hamptons often mix it up with omlettes, cheesy bagels, and sausage and gravy. Not here: the monotony of scrambled eggs was dominate. And no fresh fruit or sliced fruit. I wanted to like it more than I did. Serious room to improve breakfast.
Oakland is less pricey than SF.

Very disappointed. A friend dropped off a nice bottle of alcohol for me at the front desk. When I returned a couple hours later to collect the gift, the front desk said it was gone. They had no answer other than sorry. I asked if they could check cameras and they said no. For shame.

The location is an absolute nightmare to find. We circled like lost souls, only to be greeted by the grim reality of its inadequacies. Parking? Forget about it. The only option they provide is to valet and brace yourself for the extortionate fee of $50, which seems acceptable to charge an arm and a leg for the privilege of not parking your car. As for the ambiance, the pristine facade depicted in the pictures? Pure fantasy. Instead, we were greeted by a scene of a dystopian nightmare – graffiti-laden buildings, ominous scaffolding, and the ever-present hustle and bustle of unsavory characters.
The stark contrast between the hotel’s website and reality was shocking. Their site’s images painted a serene oasis, but we found a scene from a post-apocalyptic movie set. Graffiti-covered buildings and ominous scaffolding seemed to hold the place together, and pedestrians risked life and limb in the dimly lit streets.
Now, let's talk about their age restriction policy. Not a peep about it on their website, leaving unsuspecting guests to stumble into a minefield of disappointment. If you can call her that, the receptionist practically rolled her eyes at our mere presence, informing us that we couldn't check in because of our age. When we dared to inquire about alternatives, she offered nothing but disdain, claiming that no nearby establishment would accommodate us. Our age is above the minimum, so there shouldn’t have been a problem because we had checked in at various locations without any issue once.
After enduring the ordeal of the location, we finally decided to cut our losses and drive 30 minutes to a nearby town. What a revelation it was! Not only did we find a hotel with a location that didn't require a treasure map to locate, but the service we received was a breath of fresh air compared to the inhospitable abyss we had escaped. Our car found a haven in their parking lot for a reasonable fee. And the best part? We slept like babies, thanks to the comfortable beds that ensured we woke up refreshed and ready to take on the day. It's baffling how such a basic concept as hospitality seemed to elude the establishment we left behind.

Bad service. Room in poor condition. Worst Hilton brand hotel experience ever. Don't stay here.

Pearla at the front desk is amazing! She deserves more recognition.
