Lunar New Year Cat Eye stamped nails by O! The best Japanese gel nails done by the best nail professional. Meant to post this earlier but I have been caught up in my first home purchase (sorry O!). I smile every time I look at my nails and it's the ONE self care item that I can do that stays solid until my next appointment with O. She is booked up MONTHS in advance so be AWARE of this and patient. You want the BEST nail tech, you have to book her in advance and she IS worth the wait. Be sure to tip her for what she is worth also because she really puts her heart and soul into her nail artistry and craft. Thank you O! Her studio is very clean and tucked away inside a series of shops in Montclair. Bathroom is always clean in the back also.

I can not say enough good things about Ohnnmar and her amazing skills! I have searched high and low for a nail technician who: A) Actually enjoys doing nail art B) Can do gel tips/extensions O is all of these things and so much more. After about five hours I walked out of her salon with nails that you see on a Pinterest board! She is very detail oriented and takes her time. I enjoyed our conversation and even the natural moments of silence. The process was not rushed and parking is extremely easy to find! She has a steady hand and ensures that every step is done correct and to your liking. I gave her images of a couple things I wanted and we literally combined three inspo photos into our own masterpiece on my nails! I've been getting compliments left and right since I left her presence. FYI: I booked my appointment in mid February for May 8th. When I tell y'all she is booked in busy I mean it! The woman is a total pro and then some. I can't thank my friend Angela enough for forwarding me directly to Gel O Nails. I am looking forward to my next appointment!

I have been seeing Ohnnmar consistently for almost 2 years now and she has been one of my favorite nail designers that I've ever worked with! Ohnnmar is fun, collaborative, and always delivers on a design when I have a vision. Not only does she prioritize nail health, she makes my nails super cute too! Beautiful nails take a lot of time and work, and Ohnnmar holds that to the highest standard. I would recommend Ohnnmar a hundred times over.

Updated with a picture to show a week's wear on the beautiful bridal nails Ohnnmar did for me. As you can see... they look practically brand new. Even after a ton of wear and tear from moving things, and a little lax cuticle care on my part, my nails look awesome. I cannot believe tip wear is essentially non existent. That's always the issue I struggle with when it comes to ordinary manicures. Once she removed the gel, I was shocked at how healthy and clean my nail beds were. She was so gentle and careful, and there's no damage at all.

I have been going to Ohnnmar for a while now! Glad she re-opened. There is a wide selection of different gel colors. She pays great attention to details and I have always felt very satisfied when I walk out.

quality work and attention to detail. Thanks Ohnmar!! She also has the best color selection I've seen in the bay (and I've been pretty much everywhere). She keeps up to date on the latest trends, so her work is always top notch. She's got green tea and coffee too, so it's not just about great work, but a full experience. She once spent a weekend affixing flowers to my nails that she created by hand. She's truly an artist! I wish I could reliably get over to the east bay (and that she had more availability) I would only go to her. Edit: rekt by the double post it seems...

Ohnmar is absolutely THE BEST!!! She is so detailed oriented and meticulous, it blows my mind. That is why her appointments take about 2 hrs. But I don't mind. I enjoy great conversation with her and I come out with gorgeous nails that last up to 4 weeks!!! You read it right. In regular nail salons my gel wouldn't last passed 2nd week, but Ohnmar uses different technique and high quality gel that won't chip first time you wash your hands. Highly, highly recommend her! Just make sure you schedule your appointment ahead of time because she is booked for months in advance.

Ohnnmar is meticulous at everything she does. She is a true perfectionist and your nails will always come out looking 100% as you want them to. She is constantly experimenting with the latest techniques, so can accommodate any request! She is also so sweet and such a hard/worker - the best!!

So happy I found this master nail studio! I just moved to the Bay Area and was concerned I might not find a high-quality salon, and tried 3 other places (where I was underwhelmed with the quality) before I found Gel O Nails. It was worth the wait in booking. My nails look amazing!!! So happy.
