Eric and the staff at Eco Framing do excellent work. They know and can work with any media. Through several years they have framed oil and watercolor paintings, photographs, prints, and posters, for both our family and for the nursing facility where we work.

I visited this business based on the reviews that I had read on Yelp. I reviewed the services they offered on their website and emailed them of any inquiries that I had. I scheduled an appointment to receive service.
I was in need of a replacement to the glass that was removed from a framed art piece that I had purchased in consideration of it breaking during transit. Eco Framing staff were more than welcome to listen to my requirements of the material of the replacement and recommended alternatives when what I wanted could not be accommodated by the frame. My takeaway, there are different types of glass that could be used in framing art pieces.
I would recommend this business to anyone who has art framing needs.

I returned from an impactful trip where I purchased a significant piece of art from an acclaimed Cuban artist. I soon realized that both of my favorite framing vendors had closed during COVID, leaving me with very few options. Without any viable leads or recommendations, they began an internet search which led me to Eco Framing. The first indication that I had found the right on Ace was the initial call with Eric. He answered the phone with a courteous, positive, helpful and professional spirit. For the in-person consultation, that vibe continued. Eric took in the piece, then listened attentively to the feeling I wanted to evoke in framing it. I appreciated his knowledge of the products and his explanation of his process. He provided several options within my price point and we worked together in achieving the look I wanted. Two weeks later, upon picking up the finished product, I am beyond pleased. The piece is presented and highlighted in such a way that it will captivate everyone who sees it. In a word, it's stunning! I am so glad to have found Eco and Eric (his dry wit and sense of humor is great!) and will definitely be back.

Eco Framing completed a 50 x 105 inch frame to house the drawing " Mimes of Palopan III," which is now at All Out Comedy Theater in Oakland. Eric guided me, and helped me find the right housing for this particular drawing . Excellent thinking and craftsmanship went into the project. The photo below tells the story. Many thanks to Eric and Bennett for their making the large scale framing happen! Great working with you both.

Eco Framing completed a 50 x 105 inch frame for a drawing now installed at All Out Comedy Theater in Oakland. Eric patiently took me through the framing process. The end product looks great. Eric gave great personalized service - was very attentive to what I wanted and gave me lots of options to choose from. He goes above and beyond and this is rare these days. I framed two oil paintings and am very satisfied with the end product! They both look amazing and it was good value for money. Don't be put off by the location of Eco Framing. It's worth it!

Eric did an amazing job framing an assortment of posters including several treasured ones from concerts at the Fillmore. He also framed an irreplaceable hand-written autographed set list, presenting it beautifully in a shadow box. The materials were very high quality and Eric took the time to make sure they complemented the art work perfectly. The location is a little sketchy but once you get inside all the art work on the walls is worth the trip. It's definitely pricier than some random frame shop and I found that the process of selection and then getting the project completed was a little lengthy, but the end product was worth every minute and every penny I spent on it.

Working with Eco Framing was my first experience getting something professionally framed, and Eric’s expertise and guidance was so helpful. Knowing the look I wanted to go for (something clean and timeless), Eric pulled out an array of frame and matte options for me to lay against my print. Once I had narrowed down my preferences, and understanding that I was budget-conscious, Eric worked with me to find the materials in the look I liked that worked within my budget. I am tremendously happy with the finished product and can’t recommend Eco Framing enough.

They are a delight to work with! Eric was the one to help me, explaining the process, giving great suggestions and listening to what I wanted. The shop is spacious and cozy at the same time, and they got it done pretty fast. I was also pleasantly surprised by the hanging method, much easier and less noticeable on my rented apartment walls. If you’ve been wanting to frame something, this is your shop!
