An amazing arts based thrift store with some really fascinating items in store. Very friendly service. The customers are bohemian and the whole place feels welcoming.

Volunteered here for sewing class twice. I've passed many times over the years but never went in. Great organization devoted to reuse and repurpose of items that would end up in landfill. Lots of great and unique items at fab prices. Wonderful staff too.
The nonprofit East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse collects discarded materials by donation from businesses, manufacturers, and the general public, keeping the materials out of the landfill, and offering them for sale in the Depot Store. The Depot is an ecological treasure trove of arts & crafts materials, educational supplies, fabric, paper, home decor and much more.
The store is open to the public Thursday through Sunday, 12pm-6pm.
Donations are taken at the back door on Shattuck Avenue on Fridays from 12pm-3pm
