I came here to buy 3 copies of a book and was treated wonderfully. Great attitude all around from everyone.

This has become one of my favorite bookstores. It's beautiful inside and has a wonderful book selection in many genres. When I visited twice last month, the woman working was kind and friendly. I found two interesting books (including one featured here in the image) and a gift for a friend. Great place for book lovers!

For nearly 30 years we were DIESEL, A Bookstore. In Sept. 2017, a store manager (w/ the help of the community) bought the store! We then became East Bay Booksellers. Don't worry, the neon still burns brightly, and we're as committed as ever to stocking the most diverse array of array our shelves can hold. Thanks so much for supporting this space over the years. We look forward to reading with you for so many more years to come!
