DBFL is a wonderful place to shop for quality pre-owned goods. They carry women's, men's and children's apparel, accessories, home goods, toys, books, and a variety of other miscellaneous treasures. I always find the staff friendly and helpful. It's a very fun place to shop, and best of all, the proceeds support the schools!

This is my favorite resale store. No, it is not as cheap as goodwill. But it is well curated and has a nice range of items in excellent shape, ranging from Zara and Banana Republic to designer items. The designer rack is too pricey for my budget but I have found excellent dresses for $25, men’s button down shirts for $14, great tops for $16. The store is a manageable size and the dressing rooms are good. If you are looking for young, trendy small sized clothing to go clubbing this might not be your number one choice but as a working mom I enjoy shopping here

Shockingly overpriced. I saw a cotton dress I brought from Target Universal Threads that was priced $8 more than I paid!!

This would be a five star review if the current person at the counter didn't take every question as a personal assault. Everything here is clean and in excellent shape. There are true bargains on designer items, especially lesser known labels. So take you time, walk in and look around. Then look again. Expect your friends to be jealous of what you got for so little. Just don't expect a friendly greeting or thanks for coming in the store.

Good selection but extremely expensive. Their 50% off rack had normal thrift store prices.

Nice store with friendly hosts, nice quality treasures at a great price. Inventory changes frequently enough to keep the store interesting for repeat visits. Nice way to get higher quality thrift store items at a great price.

Designer clothes at excellent prices and always a great sale rack. Proceeds benefit education nonprofit. Fun spending with a social conscience. Great place to donate gently used upscale clothing and accessories.

BEWARE OF RACIALLY PROFILING RUDE EMPLOYEE Went to here today with a girlfriend who was followed around the store by the same snobby old white lady with dark hair (and French accent?). Everywhere she went the sales associate followed because she thought she was going to steal. Multiple times she came right behind my friend (definitely invading her personal bubble). My friend didn't tell me until we left the store because she felt so uncomfortable and anxious. I am disgusted because she was the ONLY brown person in the store with many other white people.... um, racial profiling much?? This is NOT okay. While this is no where near as upsetting as what my friend went through, when I asked to try a dress on that was on a mannequin, she checked the size, looked me up and down and said "but this is a small..." Needless to say I was shocked at the audacity. We will NEVER come back here again (not that we wanted their shabby clothes anyway). I wasn't going to say anything because I thought she must have been a new hire (and because I told the white man behind the counter about how uncomfortable we felt) but after reading the other reviews and seeing old complaints about this lady, I decided to make this public. Wouldn't recommend at all.

This is one of my favorite places to shop! Great prices on designer clothing, fun decorative items for my home, and fashionable jewelry, handbags and shoes. Great shopping therapy without breaking the bank. I highly recommend it.

Love the new Lakeshore Ave location of Dress Best for Less. The new store is clean and modern, but still offers fantastic deals on gently used clothing, jewelry and accessories for your whole family and home. The store manager, Julia, is lovely and offers a personal touch to your shopping experience that is so often missing these days.

02.09.19 UPDATE Someone from the business sent me a private message "thanking me" for taking me business elsewhere... I can't believe someone could be so petty and passive aggressive AFTER their business was initially rude to me. This place and their owners/workers are beyond unprofessional. I'm shocked.

This is my favorite thrift store in the Bay Area! It honestly feels more like a boutique or resale shop than a traditional thrift store. The manager is a fabulous woman, who is ready to help you find whatever you're looking for. She even makes succulent arrangements from her own garden that are a steal compared to other stores nearby. You can find high end brands for low prices, and often you can still see the original tags. So the deals are right in front of you! They have an array of women's clothing, shoes, and accessories as well as men's and kid's. I will be going there for years to come :)

This cute upscale resale shop has the most unique things; and often I find exactly what I've been looking for. Great place to shop for children's clothing and books along with trendy woman's and men's clothing. The bric-a-brac area often has high end tableware. The staff is friendly and helpful.
