This location is a waste of real estate. They don't have the authorization to cash a Citibank check (unless you're an account holder), and the staff is incredibly incompetent and condescending. They are also not able to break large bills. The only good thing about this location is the air conditioning. They also have the doors by the ATM permanently locked for "protection" ...

I normally don't write ugly reviews but for this specific teller I just had to. I didn't get her name but she was the only middle eastern girl there Horrible customer service! You can tell she wasn't trying to be there! Right away when I got to her window she asked what did I want to do and when I explained what I came for...she lower her head with her hands over her face. Wtf? And the she proceeded to tell me a banker will help you.?! Did not tell me to remove my card off the slot, nothing. I ended up at her window. Again she asked me what will I be doing so I told her I wanted to remove money off my card. And she asked how much. So I told her the amount. Normally I've come on other days. Never have I seen her before but the other teller (don't know her name but she's the most nicest person there) usually asks me if I would like small or large bills. But this woman just starts counting large bills right away basically shoves them through the glass. Like girrrrrrl, chill! And when she hands me my receipt she slams it. Citibank ya'll need to do better and start hiring people with great energy cause this girl ain't it!

These are horrendously incompetent employees who seemed to relish in their inability and unwillingness to help me while I was experiencing tax fraud rather than provide any help whatsoever. I will be closing my Citibank account specifically because of the people who work at this branch

I live within walking distance. My car broke down and in the meantime, I needed quarters for laundry. My bank is not within walking distance. Bank of America is usually agreeable to giving quarters to non customers but for whatever reason they were closed during their Saturday hours. So I went across to Citibank bank.. they quickly turned down my request for a role of quarters even with cash in hand. Stated they didn't give non customers and just ran out of them. I understand policy but I told them why I was there and for the love of god, it's one roll! To a community member who now, will never bank with them and will push my friends and family to never bank with them. Wtf happened to customer service.

Absolutely the worst customer service of any bank I have ever encountered. The 800 number refuses to connect to a real person and hangs up. The onnline chat box bot or human cannot either read or comprehend anything. Their replies are USELESS. The branches I called won't answer their phones or are closed. Thank god I am a Chase customer - I am trying to get some information for an elderly person who banks here. I have tried to convince them to bank elsewhere - they agree this bank is horrible, but they would have to cross a busy street to take their business to another bank. HORRIBLE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. For anyone who may be considering this travesty of a bank go elsewhere as fast as you can. Citibank why do you even exist?

omg this is the worse bank ever! do not think you are protected by them! i had a merchant double charge me and when i notified citi they lied and said it will fall off in 48 hrs i promise you! lies! the merchant is saying they didn't but yet its right there in black and white! so citi posted one of the charges and the other is pending still! and the supervisor told me today that they have to wait and see if the merchant collects the other pending if they do then they will file a dispute and that could take 7 to 10 business days! so do not think you are protected by this bank! they will see fraud and allow it to take place then make a dispute claim!

Low staffing. Waits are too long. Port communication of information by staff. It's time to leave Citi. Locations are too inconvenient with closing of branches.

Arrived at 11 am ... one teller, four managers and about twelve people. I think they should have complimentary snacks

First of all I waited for a long time to get attended and when I finally sat down with the person at the desk he didn't bother asking me what brought me there today. It was complete silence and awkward, so I did most of the talking and he didn't say much. He was so unorganized. He was shuffling his papers when I sat down so he didn't listen clearly to my answers so he kept repeating the same questions. And finally he was not able to help me over a small typo so I wasted my entire time waiting for him and got poor customer service. However, when I went to another bank to get help, they were able to help me despite the typo!

I am not a customer of Citibank but had a check from a Citibank customer from another branch. The help from the staff in cashing the check I brought in was comfortable and friendly. Required some additional ID and approval from the branch manager. All in all, the lack of waiting time, the helpful staff and perhaps most of all the excellent customer parking made this a excellent bank experience. The Laurel District is notorious for difficult parking. Good example is the Bank of America across the street. Very difficult to find a spot, or the need to feed the meter when trying to use that branch. Very nice that the busy Laurel District has two full service bank locations.

Terrible experience. You should know that if you open an account here it is a 5 day hold on your checks, which to me is insanity. I went in to ask if they would release any money to me, which over the phone they told me can be done but it has to be in person. The man i got was basically like go fuck yourself because your account is new. I said so my son is to starve and im to have no gas, he replyed yeah i tell my clients to go through check cashing if its going to be an issue. Your gonna tell me i cant even have a 100.00 of my own money.. banks are corrupt and full of shit. Even though they have the funds its unbelievable to me they wont even help you out because your too new of a client. I never had this issue at wells fargo and im sad i chose to open an account here, with people who could care less about their clients. Oh ya i would also like to add they let me sit there even though not one person at a desk was doing a damn thing.

Received some excellent help when I was there from an associate named Lennon. He was personable, and knowledgeable. I recommend him for any transactions you may need to handle other than normal teller work.

Another branch that allows their employees to hang out in the back while customers stand in line. The is one teller at the window about four employees in the back moving in and out of the back room. The manager is at her desk acting as a personal banker and one other personal banker. I waited here for 1.5 hours to get to speak to a banker. This was something that had to be handled at the branch level. Trust me I tried to call.

If you are a Citibank customer keep an eye on your account, especially if you use Zelle to transfer money. Due to their error, Citibank/Zelle "failed" a transfer and didn't notify either me or the sender. Then, after they took the funds back (that had deposited the day before), they decided I would be overdrawn as well. As of this moment, they claimed they returned the money to the sender, which they have not. Their "resolution" was to suggest the sender send the money AGAIN, so they can take the entire thing to cover the overdraft that wouldn't have happened if they hadn't taken the money!! They said they're having issues with other customers as well, so if you use Citibank, check your account. This is outrageous!!
