I remember going here to volunteer and try to provide lunch and coffee for the people in the program. I didn't even get a chance. The Guys there thought they were in prison and acted like angry children. Tall white tried to intimidate me which was in itself quite amusing to me. I had no idea it was this bad. I expected some common courtesy and a opportunity to do something nice. I dontate time and money to help other men and women to not loose focus or faith in themselves. The man Child even pulled out his phone to record like something was happening. When people in authority showed up they were just as weak minded as the guys they have working there.
I've been to other salvation army programs with great times and stories. Ever since this event I have removed myself and my fellowship members from dealing with anything to do with them.
Just a group passing time and looking to get locked up or worse.
Be safe around this place ??

This store would be a 5/5 if they put up some mirrors for people to try things on. Ever since they took out the dressing rooms people use mirrors that are for sale to try clothes on and there is a line to use the mirror, so clearly there is a demand for more mirrors in the store. In fact, where the dressing room used to be would be a great place for 3 mirrors!

We borrowed their van an I returned it Today (we are another SA). When I returned the van, the people that received it didn't know it was gone.... That doesn't make me feel comfortable leaving people in charge of running an organization and not knowing simple things..... This comment is not intended to be a negative mark, I love the SA and all they do for the community...perhaps they need extra help...

Why does this business advertise online that they're open on Sunday's? I definitely just wasted a good chunk of my day

Ok, you are looking for a used car and are sick or Craigslist, Auto Trader and have even taken the trek to the East Bay to the Auto Row, but all of it has been in Vain. well, here is one answer for you. Salvation Army Car Lot Yes, i know it is a bit odd, but think about it. Salvation Army is a organization that takes donations from lots of people who donate their car, so that is quite a lot of cars. Call the number and ask for the Kenny McFarland as he is the manager and can give you an idea of what he has. He is an approachable kind of guy and is not making money at this as he is apart of the Salvation Army and a religious volunteer. They get in new cars every week and is located right around the corner at a parking lot. Bottom line, if you are looking for as good car for under $5,000 that has been looked over, smoged and a good commuter.
