The banker/teller needs to be informed of current promotions in the bank. To make a long story short, I missed a promotion I was waiting for. I got a call from the manager and there is absolutely nothing he can do!

They are closed until further notice . So many Chase branches are closing. Automation wins again.

Not my personal account, I was visiting Chase again on a client matter. Have done business with this branch in the past, and everyone I've met here are super friendly and helpful. This time I met with Ryan, who was very professional and helpful, even if I did not have an appointment. I see some reviewers are complaining about parking, but I think they forget that free parking for patrons of Lakeshore merchants is available across the street, outside Trader Joe's. I recommend this bank/branch. However, as of writing, the hours listed here on Google are off. Business hours are 9 AM to 5P PM, M-F.

I used to bank with Chase years ago, but at the Southshore branch in Alameda. The purpose of my visit was to open a checking account with a classmate of mine for an upcoming event scheduled for the early part of November. There were no employees at the bank to help us. The teller at the window told my classmate that he would have to set up an appointment to open up a checking account. Since we were pressing for time to get an account open, we decided to go to another bank in the Lakeshore area. Nowadays, customer service at banks is not like 10 years ago. Back then opening a checking account was simple and quicker. I feel now it's like treating an old dog new tricks; i.e., "jumping through hoops, sit, pant, lie down, roll over" just to get something done. Bye, bye Chase Bank. I have been your bank customer ever since 1960 when it was called First Savings of California.

One star for the polite people who work there. But they are not really knowledgeable and neither is their whole system. The people who work there only have a phone directory and would need to call specific depts on the phone to ask about almost everything! And even those specific depts couldn't do it right. I paid off my mortgage loan 6 months ago, yet I still have not received my "reconveyance deed". Other banks in the past had always sent me (or order the County Recorder's Office to send me) the reconveyance deed whenever I paid off a loan or refinanced. Now that I chased them down, they said they'd send me a "release of lien" instead, but not a "reconveyance deed". Their reason was that now that my loan account is "closed", they couldn't ask the County Recorder's Office to do it. Well, they should have done it WHILE THEY WERE INITIATING the procedure---not 6 months later when the customer is chasing them down!! Now, I will have to order the deed copy myself from the County Recorder's Office and I will have to pay the Recorder when Chase had already charged me the recording fee. Either Chase is incompetent or they're nickel and diming us customers!

Little surprise this bank has 2 stars overall on Yelp. Unexpectedly closed, always understaffed, and poorly managed are all givens. Don't bother to call, because it's impossible to get through. There are literally no bankers to help with accounts, because so many people who work here quit. Also no surprise that their new (as of May 2022), JP Morgan Chase in-location licensed broker, Rocky Yip (#6790405) would also be rude and incompetent. Stay away from this branch, but especially so-called financial advisers like Rocky. Such a bummer that this Chase location gives their international brand a bad name.

Im appalled at the heavy set Indian representative Who told me I couldn’t change my baby in their office. Her behavior was beyond insulting as a mother and she had no remorse as she sees me struggle to help my baby. This is the most un family friendly business establishment I have even been to. This is the kind of place that would shame you if you have to breastfeed. I can not believe places like this still exist.

You can no longer call a branch from phone numbers posted online. Also bank tellers are not skilled enough to find active accounts

This is the branch I opened a joint account in 8 years ago And my neighborhood branch. No appt, very easy to do. Today I called to try to make an appt with a banker to remove the joint status as my joint account holder had passed away. I had to give the guy who answered my account number 4 times. I was put on a long hold while he looked for the appt book. In the meantime I got a call and had to call back. 5 tries and each time a recording came on to tell me no one can answer and to call back. Waited, called back, same guy, had to give account number 2 more times. Put on another long hold. Guy comes back on...more excuses about this and that. Someone has to call me back. Really? To make an appt? Fail.o Thinking best thing now it to close the account and open another with a different institution.

Trying to open account , I made an appointment write notes about what I need to do , I arrived on time for my appointment spent 9 minutes and the banker said he won't have time to do it , It was the only appointment available in their site for that day , the bank was empty , and he didn't have time . Seriously ! worst customer service , look for another bank who cares about their customers .

Easy, and convenient location. Everyone who works there has been so pleasant and friendly. I can never get ahold of anyone on the phone though, which is why I'm giving them 4/5 stars.

Soooooo...firstly, it's a bank..I know what to expect,realistically...it's no credit union. This review is for this branch and chase in general (branch gets 4.5- 5 stars from me because I really like the ppl who work there and my dog is always happy to say wassup. But chase is turning more and more into Bank of America in terms of their policies , can't have that-I left botador a reason..!!! Sooo chase as an institution gets 1 star ..good thing this branch has kind employees )!!! Oh chase, As far as big banks go it ok I guess but not providing temporary cards anymore is a HUGE pain ...it is my money, right? Meh. Overall, they have really nice tellers , they're always nice to me and my doggo (she gets treats and lovin) , oh and then there are the lollipops, duh. ...coffee and water too...for those who care. And honestly the lines aren't ever that bad -when I had bofa the lines regularly were about 30 mins long...eefffff that. It's a bank, they are pretty understanding and cool about fixing /helping with overdraft charges. Credit cards are to be avoided as far as I'm concerned so idk anything about the more complex aspects of their inner workings ..but they help with fraud and all the other basics. I don't make 3 figures or have a safety deposit box though so maybe there's like another super special tier for those with more resources. Maybe Those of you who've Leveled up can let us simpletons know.;-p
