Went in to see why my vehicle was making weird noises and driving funny. The owner didn’t even try to help just popped my hood and checked my oil and said it was safe for me to drive. I spoke to a mechanic over the phone who was positively able to identify the issue as my transmission. I guess they don’t like money here. Don’t waste your time.

I can not recommend this place enough. They have been consistently wonderful; excellent service, kind, fast, and honest. They don't overcharge and will be honest about repairs that NEED to be done versus can repairs that can wait.

DO NOT trust. From my experience, these guys are crooks and liars. Always get a second opinion. I brought my car in because the engine was overheating and the dealer had a 3 week wait on appointments. They checked out my car and said the issue had nothing to do with coolant. Then after lifting the car and looking it over (literally 3 minutes) “diagnosed” the following:There actually was a coolant leak all of a sudden - plus a malfunctioning water pump and leaking differential gasket.Price tag of replacing the water pump and fixing the leaking differential gasket around $1400.Sounded fishy after all of a sudden the coolant was in fact leaking after initially it “had nothing to do with the coolant.” Then with such a quick diagnosis of the rest I decided to visit a well known auto repair shop to get a second opinion. They took their time in checking the vehicle and it turns out the bolts were loose on the oil cooler housing, and just needed to be replaced. $500 for labor and parts.I would have driven out of Catrachos with $1400 less in my account, unnecessary replacement parts, and the actual problem still there. There is a stereotype for mechanics because of people like this. Save your money and go elsewhere.
