Friendly and helpful! John helped me try and problem solve what tool to use for a project. he took his time and showed me different tools on a difficult flooring project. Ultimately he recommend trying low tech tool that I didn't even need to rent something cheaper to try first. Great experience all the way around.

We've rented various equipment from Oakland Rentals over the last 15 plus years and they are amazing. I highly recommend them for many reasons. They are courteous, mellow, super knowledgeable and willing to impart their knowledge to beginners. They took the time to demonstrate how to properly use various tools and were excellent instructors to wanna be do-it-yourselfers like my wife and I.They even gave us a better rate when they didn't have to. Simply a class act of a business with kind staff and the tools got the job done and their advice was indispensable.With their tools, help, and guidance we were able to save thousands of dollars on a big do-it-yourself project as opposed to having a contractor come in and do it.Highly, highly recommended.

These guys are great! Helpful, easy going, fair. Nice to have them in the area. I've rented from them three times and will definitely be going back.
