One teller. Impossible to conduct business here. Ugh. Why are they so understaffed and so slow???? And why are there tellers drinking Starbucks walking around but not helping???

Literally the worst branch I've ever been to. Amy the "manager" has no idea how to run and lead a team. She accused me of fraud on my account and then to add insult to injury I waited 30 mins for a cashier check for them to tell me the system was down and to come back the next day. I will never be returning there and I suggest others don't as well. They need an entirely new team of staff members who know what professionalism truly is

I didn't have an appointment. I walked right in and got in line. After being in line for about five-to-ten minutes, an associate approached me and asked if I needed any assistance. That associate: Yahya alongside his coworker Suhani proceeded to assist me, with my banking situation. They made it a quick and seamless-process. I recommend any current or prospective customers to come do business at this branch. You will not be disappointed, trust me.

With most of the local branches closed on the weekend, this is the only one open for a few hours on Saturday. Unfortunately, be prepared to wait in a long line!

1 star has never felt like too high of a ranking. The staff at this bank is not only unhelpful but ranging on disrespectful. If you can avoid coming to this branch then do. Business is conducted slowly and sloppily. This experience has me considering changing banks.

I was formerly with B of A in Orinda which finally closed (March 2022) (shocked it lasted that long!). The service @ that branch was so substandard, it made the DMV look like a bunch of rocket scientists by comparison. So, bc Orinda branch closed, I had to move my security box contents from Orinda to this College Ave branch (OK, didn't hafta but elected to do so for ease in a pinch). The B of A fellow (Asian American) who helped me do this (sorry! his name escapes me) was 100% efficient, service-oriented, positive, helpful, & gave me his undivided attention. Made it all happen in a Snap! Wait - Is this B of A? I was astonished by the customer service!! So far above and beyond what I was accustomed to at the Orinda branch. A couple of weeks later (today) I had a cashiers' check SNAFU. Beautiful African American teller was on it. She resolved the problem in the blink of an eye. Checked with supervisor to make sure this was good. Supervisor gave thumbs up. Wait, what?! Is this B of A??? After so many years of hating on (Orinda) B of A, I have to say my experience with this branch has been stellar. Plus I love the free parking lot . This branch has it going on (their peeps are well-trained and seem to have great Mgmt support) and so I recommend you check it out. Word to the wise: for your first encounter, regardless of the transaction, I recommend making an appointment - tell them you're new to the branch and would like to have personalized service. Get ready to write your 5-star review. I never ever thought I'd write these words, but here goes: Thanks B of A College Ave for your fantastic service. Your superstar staff is amazing!

Spent 40 minutes at the bank and only got 1 out of 3 things accomplished (getting cash), but what I was coming to get done (canceling a recurring transaction and getting transaction fees reversed) not. Service was unprofessional especially by a banker named Aaron who brushed me off and just kept walking like I was a nobody. If you want my business you need to earn it. Seriously thinking of banking somewhere else. Have a nice day.

I have been in this branch many times and the service has been uniformly poor. Ordinarily, as others have pointed out, there is one teller, several staff standing around and a long line of customers. Today was different. Today, there were 4 tellers--every window open which I have NEVER seen before at 10:00. Not one customer in the bank! Perhaps have the teller windows open when there's a crowd? I walk in and mention I want to deposit a check to my wife's account that is made out to the two of us. "We can't do that because you're not on the account." Okay, fair enough. I ask, "How do I get on the account?" "We can't tell you." "I'm not asking you to do it, I want to know how we do it, like, what ID do I need to bring, etc." "We can't tell you." "You can't tell me how to add someone to an account?" "No, because maybe she doesn't want to add you, we don't know." "Right, I understand that but what is the process if she does want to add me?" "We can't tell you." Exactly in keeping with my previous experiences...

They closed my business checking account with no warning or reason given. Also it's been 13 days and They still have all my money. I was referred to the closure department, they told me "we don't have to tell you why we closed your account "

I bought $20 worth of quarters today from this location. Once doing my laundry, I realized there was a nickel in the roll of quarters. I doubt they'd believe me if I went back to correct their mistake. I'll delete this if they ever want to make things right and pay me my hard-earned 20 cents.

Why we are moving all our accounts to other bank. I am not a complainer and this is probably my second bad review I have ever published. I was very disappointed in customer service and professionalism of this branch. I came on 06/09/20 to wire funds to escrow for property purchase. It takes usually 5-10 minutes to wire funds (I had everything in hand, all info and wire instruction) and I absolutely had to do it that day. I could not schedule an appointment the day before because none of BofA branches had available slots. The bankers did not want to listen my story about escrow, purchase, our deposit in risk etc. etc. I mentioned that our companies had around 20 business accounts with BofA and we were preferred members etc. etc. I was begging and was ready to wait as long as needed. No! They did not care even to listen to me or take any efforts to squeeze my wire when the other customer was late for the appointment. I was trying to communicate with three other business banking specialists who did not seem to be that busy. They were careless and pretty rude. Nobody was friendly or sympathetic in their business department. I asked to talk to the branch manager and have been told that the manager was not their. I asked for business card of the lady who was especially rude and she said that she did not had business cards. I wonder either my pretty heavy accent was the reason of such rude treatment? We seriously consider moving all our accounts to another bank that appreciates relationship with their loyal customers and on our side when we need them. I hope their branch manager Amy Zhang will put efforts to improve their service.

Suhani who works at this branch is ill-mannered, hostile, ignorant and incompetent in a way that reeks of the unethical. Do not discuss your money with her. Btw: 1516 branch on Solano in Albany is lovely.
