I got quotes from several competitors before taking my van to Alberto's to get the transmission rebuilt. I'm really happy with the price that was quoted and glad to support a neighborhood business. I'll update this review post-repair. Se habla español.

Very horrible customer service. Alberto overcharged me to do my front suspension. I brought in my parts because he told me I had to order parts from the dealer and I wouldn't be receive the parts until 2weeks later and my storage fee was $90 a day until my part arrived. We never came to a conclusion about the price I was charged which was $700 for the passenger rear tire only . After he fixed the back he then told me my front tire was messed up and that I would have to pay him another $500 to fix the front. So unprofessional! Every time I ever had my car fixed in a shop they would give me a estimated price for the entire job however he decided to play games and overcharge me because I'm a Black Woman. After I paid he then pulled my car out to the streets and threw my keys on the dashboard! I will never come here again and I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to ever do business with him. I was afraid because a lot of illegal activities go on in and around this place and I thought if I stood around for any longer waiting on a tow truck my life would be in a lot of danger!! Avoid going to this shop! I've warned you
