Called to get details on an early rental pick up. My flight was to arrive at 1am. I asked the guy on the phone what time they open and what's the earliest I could pick up a rental. He said, we open at 5, told me no and hung up.

This place is trash. There is a surprise “refundable deposit” that gets taken out at the time of pick up supposedly given back 24 hours after drop off so plan on paying x3 the price because after I got back they took even more!! So in review I pre paid for my vehicle, then paid for my vehicle, then paid for it AGAIN! The best part of my vacation was completely over drafting my accounts because of these crooks.

As a business I cannot believe how they cannot override or make a decision regarding their business and their customers when you make a purchase through a third-party place I rented a car paid for it our flights got canceled with spirit beyond our control all I wanted was to have my daughter be able to pick up the car cause she’s flying in on a different airline so that we can have the car for our vacation while we’re there and they won’t even do it nobody is willing to work with me I am so upset

DONT DO IT !!!!!!! FROM THEM THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY !!!!! They ended upCharging me 1300 to rent a car for a WEEK I needed a car badly due to being in a bad housing situation at the moment and being 6 months pregnant so I bought the car from them for another 4,000 a week later they towed the car while I was refreshing getting ready for apartment interview and dr important which they all knew about so now I’m in the process of taking LEGALACTION they have NO regards for anyone horrible people

Airport Rent A Car saved our trip to Yosemite as other rental companies would not accept our credit card. Airport Rent A Car came to pick us up at the airport, gave us a rental car and was at our disposition when we arrived to drop it off late at night. The service was very good, we can not thank you enough!

If I could give 0 I would. First, left my phone at the counter. Find my phone showed it was there, but the guy at the counter tried to insist that I go online and submit a request and they would notify me on 3-5 days if they found it. What?!!! Raised a stink and the phone was in the managers desk--no doubt wanting my new iPhone for his own. Second, rented a suv to camp for 3 days for $180 including tax ... They snuck added $40 to my final bill on frivolous stuff like processing fee. I will be declining to pay when my credit card bills comes due and let Amx deal with the crooks. This place is shady--beware This is for budget rent a car at the oKland airport rental center

I was quoted $49.00 a day plus a deposit of $199.00. At the time I thought I may have the car for 3 days but ended up keeping it for less that 48 hours. They charged me for a full 3 days and would not refund me for the day I did not use the car. I agree with the other reviews, very shady place you will get illegitimate charges and the car they rented me needed brake pads, was also very dirty.

Airport Rent A Car saved my trip from being a disaster! Rented previously from Enterprise and had a reservation at the airport for a car and went to counter on day of rental and at the last second they told me my debit card is not acceptable. Mind you I lve rented from Enterprise in Las Vegas with no issues. Anyways back to Airport Rent A Car, they picked me in got me into a car and I was on my way. Returned the car on Labor Day and he was there waiting to dropped me off at the airport. Defenitely going to rent went them when I come back to Oakland next month. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Very shady place to do business. I was 2 days late returning the car while taking exams at uc berkeley and they sent a repo team to take the car and leave me stranded on campus . I could have simply dropped the car off that evening and updated my charge card information. It is run by low rent mexican and Persian mafia .it is a scam business

THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS. If you use this service, be prepared to contest illegitimate charges. Extremely shady. One man service. No website. No key drop. No way of reliably reaching the owner. Half the time you call the listed phone number, someone answers in Spanish to say 'wrong number.' Limited hours: supposedly 9-4:30 on weekends, 9-8 on weeknights, at the discretion of the owner. Cars are in subpar condition: dents, nicks, etc.
