I've seen some bad reviews here, and they may be justified, but I have always been impressed with ABF Freight. Drivers are friendly, professional and on-time. No complaints.

Dozens of deliveries by ABF. I started picking up Packages at ABF depot because parcels always damaged. The forklift movement of parcels is aggressive. I was also called last week to pick up my parcel and went next Morning. But the parcels where still packed in big rig truck not available so I wasted 2 hours of my morning. When I could have scheduled customer home service. The prices paid for shipping should have better ways of handling parcels and if damaged they do not call you to tell you until you get items.

This company is a DISASTER. We had appliances scheduled for last week and the truck just didn't show up. I called the next day and there wasn't even an apology - just a very irritated tone with a new date as if it was my fault for their mistake. I even told her an apology for this inconvenience would be appreciate and she just said "ok" and STILL DIDN"T APOLOGIZE.Now it's the end of the day on the rescheduled date and the appliances are still nowhere to be found. I've been on hold for 40 minutes and no one seems to be interested in telling us if our delivery is coming today. I'm beginning to wonder if they lost them.I get that issues happen but the completely disinterested almost lazy response on the phone is just WILD. I can't believe a company like this can stay in business.If you're a business planning to contract with this company for deliveries PLEASE DON'T.

We had 2 trailers going from oakland, ca to the bradenton Florida terminal. ABF in oakland had our trailers waiting, such as easy process as long as you go to their office and communicate when you come and in out, and when your finished. it's not rocket science. Pack it right, and it will come to you in good condition......Good Service, and Professional that really hard to find in the progressive lawless city of Oakland.

Horrible experience and worse customer service. We worked with Upack which have a contract with ABF. This is what will happen to your stuff if you use them. They don’t care what’s inside the cube at all.

Horrible....the men there were rude and made me wait overnight for 2 pallets to be dropped...then got there the next morning and still had to wait.....spiteful, angry and unprofessional. I don't want to deliver anything else to them.

ABF Freight works with Upack. Generally a great experience. Almost everyone I spoke to on the phone was very kind and helpful. The driver was very communicative on the status of the Upack deliveries and pickup. I docked one star because I agree with other comments her regarding Penelope. I spoke to her once on the phone and she had an attitude and was not very helpful. Customer service probably isn't the right role for her.

Very unprofessional communication, did not show up during the delivery window that was given to us. Dropped the 300 lb shipment in driveway with a wooden pallet and left. It was supposed to be delivered in the house as we paid the extra charge for that.
