Food and drinks: Yok denecek kadar az ve kötü

We tried reaching out to management and have still yet to hear back about this issue. We've stayed at other Marriott hotels and have always had a great experience, but as you can see in the photos, our room did not live up any Marriott standards. We paid $230 for the room for one night and this is what we got...
The shower had black mold throughout. The bathroom had strange dark liquid stains on the walls near the sink and above the toilet. The desk was strangely covered in dust and dirt. What is also unsettling is the mold in the shower has been there awhile and the hotel staff have obviously seen this black mold repeatedly and felt nothing was wrong about this. It would take a maintenance professional all of 5 minutes to remove and replace the molded caulking.
Most disturbingly, our room was located next to what seemed to be a boiler room. A little hum would have been fine but loud banging noises occurred every 15 minutes throughout the night, shaking and vibrating the entire bed and making it impossible for us to get any rest that night. We recorded a video of what we're talking about. See and hear it for yourself.
Given the unacceptable condition of the room and the repeated disturbances which did not allow us to sleep, we requested a refund and still haven't heard back. Marriott corporate customer service only offered us reward points as a consolation, which equated to maybe 10% of the cost of the room.
We visit yosemite on a regular basis throughout the year and were really looking forward to making this Marriott our go-to hotel for our yosemite trips, but this experience has left us thinking otherwise..

Stayed here for Yosemite (~20 minute drive from south entrance). Complimentary breakfast from 6:30am - 9:30am. No pass needed for parking onsite.

Hotel staff could care less. They said housekeeping is on request but even after multiple requests it was hard to get basics refreshed, let alone housekeeping. This was a let down experience unfortunately.

Great place to stay, large clean rooms hotel well staffed and very modern. Staff friendly and courteous, I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a good place to stay while in Oakhurst or on their way to visit Yosemite. Why worry about the crowds and limited reservations at camp sites or other lodging in Yosemite Valley. Just stay in Oakhurst and drive into the park for your hiking and river fun, and exit back to great food in Oakhurst and a soft bed at Fairfield Inn. Trust me let the "tourists" deal with the Yosemite crowds you'll be enjoying the good life in crowd free Oakhurst. ?
Enjoy ?
Tell them Smokey Fred sent you ?

Hotel very well located just before Yosemite, very large room with two beds and large bathroom. Coffee machine, microwave and very practical small fridge.
Room not very well soundproofed, you can hear the neighbors a lot. Breakfast not very rich, a few breads, a fruit, egg, sausage and cereals.
This remains very good value for money.

Over all could've been 5 stars but the breakfast buffet could be better.

Jennifer the “manager” at Marriott Fairfield Oakhurst Yosemite t, She is very rude and unprofessional. I have called the Marriott 800# and submitted a claim for an incident. Received an email for an apology, but that was it.
We use Marriott for almost all our business trips throughout the US. We are very appalled by the way Jennifer the “manager” behaved over the phone with me and In front of our business colleague.

Rooms are very noisy, couldn’t sleep during my stay properly due to the noise from above and either side. Service was not great, I was challenged on my credit card despite being a Bonvoy member and have not previously provided this at any hotel including the 2 Fairfield’s I stayed at in FL and CA during this trip. As the gateway to Yosemite, you shouldn’t have to ask for info, when I did it wasn’t very informative. Had to work out the times for the bus for the park myself. They should have it all available in reception and maybe even have a board. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are bonvoy member. I think if you are going to Yosemite then stay in one of the local hotels/ b&bs.
